We’re looking to add an Design Engineer in Singapore. The position will be based in our Univac office in Woodlands.

As a Design Engineer, you will:

Responsible for the creation of tooling concepts and the design of plastics injection mold, detailing high-performance molds in 3D.

The key responsibilities are as below:

• Design projects from concept thru final details
• Interacting with customers – conference calls to on-site design reviews
• Working with the shop to distribute and communicate the requirements of the project
• Participate in the First-Off Tool review and assess the suitability of the tool for production
• Report to upper management
• Identify technical risks and define mitigation plan
• Travel internationally to customer or supplier sites as projects require
• Resolving out-of-spec issues
• Be required to mentor and develop junior engineers as necessary
• Perform any other duties assigned

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

• Diploma in Precision Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing and/or any relevant engineering discipline with 7 years of relevant working experience
• Expertise in 3D modeling and knowledge in GD&T
• Experience in with evaluating and analyzing tooling issue
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Unigraphics
• Familiar with Design for Manufacture (DFM) who able to develop complex designs to the point of manufacture and release to production
• Knowing the manufacturing processes and has the knowledge in plastics and elastomers
• Experience in unscrewing, multi-shot, stack and high tolerance moulds, including mechanical design
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, including effective presentation of complex data
• Good leadership skills and a team player
• Flexible attitude towards work and eager to learn new skills
• Must be willing to work overtime as required

Job Responsibilities:

• To involve in the planning and design of electrical engineering works for building services.
• To prepare tender documents, design and technical specifications for tenders, as well as supervise the installation and commissioning of electrical works.
• To collaborate with peers of other disciplines in feasibility studies and design, as well as ensure excellent delivery of service to clients.
• Oversee site supervision team (REs/RTOs) for site installations.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering from a University recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably with design and consultancy experience.
• Good understanding of construction sequences and exposure in design and coordination works in electrical services.
• Conversant with international, Eurocode or local codes and regulations as well as submission procedures
• Knowledge of REVIT, CAD (AutoCAD or Microstation), and engineering design software is necessary.

In this role, you will be responsible for the development of electrical and electronics design, and to ensure its integration for Scorpio Electric’s electric motorcycle. The candidate for this role will require to be both hands-on in hardware design development and project management support.

Responsibilities:

· Participate in product requirements definitions

· Develop hardware requirement and specification documentations

· Participate in test strategy development, methodology, test plans and cases

· Design and integrate power electronics and motor control system

· Integrate, characterize and improve powertrain and electrical drive system and efficiencies

· Support E/E and system level integration with Mechanical/Vehicle Engineers

· Participate in DFM, DFA, DFT

· Conduct validation tests and participate in design reviews

Requirements:

· Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent

· Involved with electronics design in full product development cycle

· Experience with bring up, characterize and integration of E/E system is preferred

· Experience with cross-functional development and debugging with Mechanical/Firmware team required

· Experience with regulatory compliances (EMC) and industrial standards would be advantageous

• Provide L3 support in incident, request, change and problem management related to database operations.
• Provide oncall support, including outside of office hours, and participate in Major incidents.
