• Review project specifications, clarify doubts on technical specifications, and provide technical engineering and sales support for customer projects
• Provide primary technical proposal according to the requirements of customers' enquiry and carry out necessary technical clarification with customers.
• Release drawings for BOM creation, costing and production
• Responsible for Project execution after PO was received.
• Assist in reviewing technical documentation in the system.
• Provide expertise advice to solve customer technical questions by phone or email.
• Business trip to provide onsite support to key projects.
• Support after sales.Onsite troubleshooting and provide technical advice to customers.
  Quality complains. Facilitate RMA such as simple investigation, coordinate in-depth analysis with factory, 3rd parties to finalise closure.
• Provide product and technology training for internal and external customers.
• Support the new product certification and existing product certification renewal.
• Support marketing activities including technical exhibitions and seminars, catalog / brochure proofreading and marketing roadshow preparation.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering sciences, eg: Flow Control, Instrumentation or comparable qualification.
• Project Management Training (PMI certificate preferred).
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, time management and awareness of business and finance implications.
• Strong at innovation, initiative, professionalism, organizational and interpersonal skills, teamwork, integrity, accountability and a sense of urgency.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management and/or Process Automation
• Knowledge of Instrumentation Controls will be an added advantage
• Basic knowledge of CAD and related designing software.
• Able/Willing to travel frequently to customer sites.

Job Responsibilities

• Reports to Project Manager.
• Overseeing the construction activities and progress, planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work programs.
• Liaise with Consultants on technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors.
• Lead a group of supervisors and ensure site progress is on schedule.
• Maintain quality standards and carry out site inspections.

Requirements

• Recognized Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent. PE Board recognized degree is preferred.
• At least 6 years’ experience in building or civil engineering project for senior role.
• Minimum 2 complete cycle (piling to roof) for HDB projects.
• Experience in architectural works will be an advantage.
• Technical competence.
• Knowledge in BIM/VDC is an advantage.
• Positive attitude and good team player.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervision, executing and coordinate project activities.
• Ensuring that the project is on-schedule, within budgeted cost, and quality standards.
• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Coordinating with Clients and Suppliers to develop project schedules, and resources plans.
• Attending Clients coordination and technical meetings.
• Supervise constructions activities.
• Formulation of Method-Of-Statement, Risk Assessment and Safe Procedure
• Involvement in both internal and external WSH Activities.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including daily report, inspection records and As-Built drawings.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Higher NITEC/ Diploma in Engineering or related field.

· Oversee the implementation of Smart Building System projects.

· Understand system design, review technical specification including quotation.

· Monitor site work and responsible for shop drawing, catalogue, material submissions.

· Supervises departmental policies and procedures and standard of work performance.

· Implement and direct a program to ensure efficient execution of turnkey projects.

· Co-ordinates departmental activities and attend meetings and liaison work with consultants/ clients / main contractors / vendors.

· Provide functional direction to assigned personnel.

· Monitor and control operation to achieve the targeted turn-around time, productivity, quality, environmental, occupational health & safety standards.

· Provide safe custody, control and maintenance of all equipment and special tools used by the department.

· Propose and implement improvement works to client.

· Establish and maintain courteous / co-operative relationship with clients.
