Key Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate between the sales team & production / service team for reconditioning work of stock item
• Coard vessel to meet Capt / Chief engineer for service & spares sales call & inspection in due course
• Carry out risk assessment for each service and observe safe work practice and regulations onboard vessels & in the workshop is part of the job responsibilities

Responsible of site coordination and supervising to ensure projects are completed according to schedule.

Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and suppliers on all project related matters.

Attend site walk, meeting, site inspection when required.

To carry out technical support functions in mechanical engineering work on site.

Any ad hoc duties asand when assigned by management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage VMware and other vCenter environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Configure and maintain Meraki switches and access points, as well as Fortigate firewalls, ensuring network security and efficiency.
• Administer Windows servers, including MS-SQL and IIS servers to support development projects and assist with creating queries and reports.
• Support and maintain Windows workstations and laptops, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.
• Implement and manage backup/recovery solutions, along with comprehensive disaster recovery plans to safeguard data and operations.
• Collaborate with HQ to align with corporate IT standards, including maintaining and updating ISO documentation as required.

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma/Degree in Computer Engineering, Information technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT infrastructure management
• Able to start within short notice is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of VMware and vCenter environments.
• Proficient in SQL and IIS server management.
• Hands-on experience with Windows servers and workstations.
• Familiar with Meraki and Fortigate products.
• Experience in office 365 installation and configuration.

• Perform and manage routine preventive maintenance and operational activities promptly and effectively
• Provide project documentation and reports
• Diagnose and rectify technical issue

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Computer Science, IT Management or related fields
• Fresh graduates keen on building their career in hands-on system engineering are welcome
• Some experience in Windows server OS, Unix/Linux OS & VM environment is a bonus
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server would be an advantage
• Good knowledge on VPN, firewall appliances
• Possess working knowledge with Cisco routers/switches would be an advantage
