REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experienced leader preferably with management experience.

We are currently looking for a Project Planner to join us on a short term contract to help us deliver various projects in the Life Sciences Industry.

Key Attributes/Responsibilities:

• Project planner to oversee and manage the entire Planning/Scheduling for Brownfield Project.
• Knowledgeable in resource planning.
• Well-versed with Microsoft Excel/Primavera P6 and is able to ensure that all project delays are accounted for and reported accordingly
• Must be well versed in planning commissioning, qualification and validation.

Manage the development of all project activities from the initiation to the closure, covering the scope of all Functions

Develop, with the Project Team, the Project Management Plan and keep it up to date during the life of the project. Tailor the project plan in line with project goals, look for efficiency opportunity

Define and manage the project budget, resources, and schedule

Organize, lead, and motivate the project team and synchronize the team with the other teams

Challenge the functions to take ownership of the project objectives

Lead the decision-making process at the project level and at the right time

Apply risk management techniques to identify the risks and issues, and implement effective risk response plans

Manage the overall project planning, organize arbitration and, in the event of deviation, propose and implement corrective actions

Provide the project evaluation and project status to management on a regular basis

2-3 years minimum in project management of electromechanical and/or electronic products

Minimum bachelor’s degree in electro-mechanical / electrical / electronic engineering

Industrial products’ knowledge is preferred

This includes design, evaluation and documentation of process window for new installations or Lam recommended field hardware modifications / upgrades

1. Work closely with Account team and customers to understand customer technology roadmaps, process flow, inflection points, requirements and business issues / challenges. Identify areas where Lam is able to value-add.
2. Work with Account team and customers to execute to penetration and defense strategy, including co-ordinating with Global Product Group on product demonstration
3. Perform startup of “capacity add” Lam systems i.e. match results to existing systems and applications
4. Design and complete simple DOE evaluations to characterize process window for new installations or Lam recommended field hardware modifications / upgrades
5. Conduct experiments and tests, collect and analyze data and generate reports for both internal and external distribution
6. Develop new processes to new and/or existing customer applications
7. Professionally represent the company to the customer. Utilize knowledge of company’s product lines and service to keep existing / potential customers informed when new/additional needs are identified
8. Develop good customer relations during start-up and trouble-shooting
9. Maintain company’s assigned equipment (computer, tool kit, diagnostic test equipment, spare parts etc) in good working condition, secure and accounted for
