Job description

· Handling various projects under the Service Division and technical support for projects under maintenance.

· Design Building Management System based on Technical Specifications

· Program equipment (ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.) under BMS based on the sequence of operation.

· Design and implement the graphical user interface, reports, and dashboards based on project requirements.

· Support Testing and commissioning of BMS projects

· Provide Root cause analysis for system faults/issues.

Key Requirements

• Engineering graduate, with knowledge is MS Office.
• Knowledge in MS SQL, VBA, online collaboration platforms and other programming languages is a plus.

Remuneration:

• $2,500.00 - $4,000.00 per month

• Develops Process Philosophies not limited to Control and shutdown philosophy, preparation of Isolation philosophy, Sparing philosophy, P&ID philosophy, and Vent, Relief, and Flare load calculation philosophy
• Prepares Development of Process Simulation Heat and Mass Balances (H&M Sheets), Process Flow Diagram (PFD), Utility Flow Diagram (UFD) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P& ID), Cause and Effect Diagrams and Safe chart
• Performs Equipment Sizing Calculations (Separators, Vessels, Storage tanks etc.), Line Sizing Calculations and Hydraulic Analysis and Flare Network design
• Reviews Technical queries and Assist Lead engineer conclude TQs with Client.
• Executes process studies like Dynamic Depressurization study, prepare reports, and prepare Process datasheets for Mechanical Equipment and Instruments.
• Conducts Inter disciplinary checks and provide input to other discipline engineering deliverables like Mechanical Equipment List (MEL), Electrical Load List, Topsides Weight report, Mechanical and Instrument datasheets, other discipline critical philosophies, etc. as required.
• Reviews Vendor documents and provide comments to ensure the vendor design is in line with the project requirements.
• Provides input to Operating manual, Pre-commissioning and commissioning manual.
• Assists Lead engineer on Procurement Engineering - reviewing vendor proposal, TC's, deviation list, TBEs and VCDs of Mechanical, Instrumentation, Piping
• Manages interface with hull and marine systems such as Cargo, Utilities, etc.
• Reviews and comments TEC Process Engineering Deliverables including process simulations through various revisions; reviewing and updating TEC issued Technical queries and conclude TQs with Client and TEC; reviewing & updating Third Party Specialist, Process & Safety studies, scope of work prepared by TEC, including follow through of all such studies (review study reports, attending workshops, etc.) and implementation of agreed studies recommendations.
• Works on process design data collection, analysis and maintenance in order to support project feasibility studies, preparation of tender/ construction documents as well as basic and detailed design drawings
• Assembles process design engineered submittal manuals/ booklets including drawings, schematics, documents, reports, calculations, etc. and provides copying support for contractors/ customers
• Prepares process design project training manuals and owner’s manuals for on-site training to contractors and customers

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering disciplines
• Atleast 5 years of working experience in marine and offshore industry
• Experienced in FEED and EPC Engineering
• Proficiency in using design software such as ASPEN HYSYS, UNISIM, etc
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
• Flexible and comfortable to travel to Tuas

Overview / Responsibilities

n accordance with Company and project Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems

• Carry out work in accordance with project requirements including guidelines and procedures
• Provision of process engineering services to projects as assigned, including;
• Process flow diagrams and P&ID’s
• Process engineering calculations and simulation
• Design survey and assessments of existing process/equipment
• Feasibility and Optioneering Studies
• Hazard Identification Studies (e.g. HAZOP, FMEA etc)
• Communicate effectively within a multidiscipline design team in addition to Client and Supply Chain representatives to ensure project requirements and expectations are met
• Ensure all technical documents and data are prepared and structured in accordance with relevant design codes, standards and legislation
• Ensure the design satisfies all operational and safety requirements
• Check and verify engineering documents in line with the technical and quality plan.
• Ensure that the work output of assigned staff complies with the relevant procedures
• Ensure, as far as is practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule
• Providing documentation and drawing deliverables on time to meet project deadlines
• Taking part and contributing to construction risk assessments and construction method statements
• Producing cost effective designs that are fit for purpose and safe
• Interact with other engineering disciplines and project as required for preparing the process deliverables
• Carry out the activities as required and assigned related to standardisation tool development & procedures

Skills / Qualifications

• Master Degree, B.E or B.Tech Chemical Eng. or Process Engineering Experience with a different branch specialization with 8 – 15 years of experience in Process design engineering, working at various levels of an engineering project starting from Concept study, Pre FEED, FEED and EPC (Greenfield / Revamp projects)
• Experience from Refinery, Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Chemical will be an advantage.
• Experience in Preparation of Design Basis, Basic simulation, PFD & HMB, P&ID, Equipment sizing and generation of process data sheets for equipment and instruments, Hydraulic calculations, Relief & Flare Calculations
• Hands on experience in the use of technical software like, HYSYS, PRO-II, AspenPlus, Flaresim, Flarenet, Pipenet will be an advantage
