Job Title: Project/Site Engineer - Fire Protection, Plumbing & Sanitary

Job Description:

1. Assist in site supervision of Fire Protection, Plumbing, and Sanitary systems.
2. Coordinate project planning, documentation, and execution of works on-site.
3. Monitor project progress, including manpower, materials planning, and ordering.
4. Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors.
5. Oversee submission coordination and prepare necessary progress reports.

Requirements:

Role Responsibilities

• Responsible for the running of small, medium and large size projects in Singapore and throughout Asia Pacific
• Undertakes a client facing role in the development, design and coordination of engineering project services for mechanical designs, installations, systems, equipment and facilities
• Actively involved in the production of drawings, calculations, schedules and specifications for all related mechanical/electrical systems
• Significant focus on the design of Mission Critical Data Centre Mechanical services including all equipment, systems and interfaces. For mechanical services including cooling, AC, ventilation, generator fuel delivery systems, associated hydraulic systems, public health & plumbing, fire protection
• Carries out feasibility, due diligence, condition/dilapidation and other types of surveys and tests on new & existing sites and facilities in respect of mechanical services
• Visits sites regularly and carries out inspections during construction stage of projects to ensure that the designs produced are realized practically and accurately
• Specifies activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing confirm to functional specifications and customer requirements
• Day to day decision making on project progress, ongoing requirements for deliverables against detail and programme and direct liaison with and advice to clients
• Represents Company at technical meetings with clients, stake holders, professional and contractors teams
• Ensures engineering deliverables, including drawings, calculations, schedules and specifications meet required robust industry and legal standards
• Leads on the coordination of engineering services internally between MEP disciplines and externally between MEP and all other relevant designs
• Takes a holistic view in the selection and application of engineering concepts and solutions
• Based in Singapore but may be required to travel through out the region and between offices

Role Requirements

• At least 8 years overall experience with 3 years Data Centre design experience
• Broad design experience across Commercial, High Rise, Hotels & Leisure would be beneficial
• Degree or higher in appropriate engineering discipline or have sufficient equivalent experience
• Singapore Professional Engineer registration or progress towards beneficial
• Significant experience in production of drawings, calculations, schedules & specifications for a range of building types
• Sound knowledge of key Health and Safety issues and legislation including Singapore DfS
• Knowledge of MS Office applications Outlook, word, excel, PowerPoint etc

Scope of Works /Job responsibilities

1. Create clear, concise, and comprehensive user guides for ICT products (Operating Systems, Servers, Firewall, Database, Cloud Service, etc) to send required logs to central monitoring service provided by Client.

2. Develop step-by-step instructions for ICT product configuration and/or setup required, to achieve Project outcome

3. Conduct own research or setup to gather accurate technical information

4. Ensure documentation adheres to Client standards and best practices

5. Update and maintain existing documentation as products evolve

6. Incorporate user feedback to improve guide clarity and usability

Required Skills:

1. Must have experience in creating technical documentation (user guide, product guide, etc)

2. Familiarity with ICT concepts, including operating systems, networking, databases, and security

3. Understanding of SIEM systems and log management

4. Able to setup temporary system using virtualisation technology to collect relevant information or visual contents required for documentation

5. Ability to translate complex technical information into user-friendly content

6. Self-reliance and ability to work independently on creating the documentation

7. Knowledge of technical documentation best practices and standards (optional)

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will be responsible for our Product Application Lab for Semiconductor applications. Working closely with the Sales team and global technical resources, the selected candidate will support the development and growth of Semiconductor industry products in the region, focused on Southeast Asia. The initial focus will be on Strip, Etch, and Clean (SEC) solutions, but will also grow to include the Elevate® line of electroplating products. Specifically, the duties will include:

• Having a deep understanding of Technic products for the Semiconductor industry,
• Keeping abreast of industry developments and market position/performance of comparable competitive products.
• Working with Sales team to select appropriate customer and application targets
• Visiting customers across the territory to understand their equipment, process, and product performance requirements.
• Starting-up and operating the Technic Wafer Processing and Failure Analysis lab
• Conducting product functional performance testing & measurements either on-site or coordinating with other Regions to generate test results remotely.
• Advising on laboratory upgrades needed to better serve customers
• Liaising with customers during qualification tests and providing trouble-shooting advice after installation
• Recommending the best product for the application based on product experience and/or laboratory trials
• Hiring and supervising at least one technician to maintain the lab and support customer trials
• Developing specifications and facility recommendations for local manufacturing of SEC products, either at Technic or third-party facilities
• Advise on hiring and lead training of operators for local manufacturing
• Set operating procedures, quality targets and release specifications for any eventual locally made semiconductor products
• Developing external collaborations with co-suppliers, Universities, or Government Research Institutes to strengthen our offering, improve our market visibility, or secure funding to advance our product offerings.

Requirement

• The role may require regular travel to Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, and Thailand (1-2 times per month) & less frequent travel to France and the US (1-2 times per year)
• Qualifications: Graduate degree (Masters or PhD) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
