Job Description

• Lead the process and mechanical team for process plant EPC project, including design, engineering, supporting procurement & installation, and testing & commissioning works

• In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards and Singapore codes of practice.

Our client is a leading global manufacturer of polymer. They are currently seeking for Process Engineer to monitor their manufacturing process.

The role of the Process Technician includes:

1. Support in implementation and participate in the continuous improvement effort in the areas of Safety, Quality, Environment and Health Management System (for example SS506 part 3, ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, IATF 16949).
2. To have a legal obligation to act in a responsible manner for the safety of themselves and other persons who may be affected by their actions or omissions at work.
3. Assist the Management in ensuring that Major Accident Hazards are reduced to As Low as Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) and escalate when necessary.
4. Ensure compliance to Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).

Job Requirement:

1. Degree in Chemical / Mechanical engineering or its equivalent
2. Minimum 2 years experience as process engineer in a chemical processing plant
3. Good knowledge of chemical engineering, mechanical engineering and / or polymer science
4. Experience in a process safety management, quantitative risk assessment such as LOPA (layer of protection analysis) or safety case preparation will be advantageous
5. SCEM, or Steam engineer/ boiler attendant certificate, preferable
6. Working knowledge in ISO9001, ISO14001, SS506-Part 3, cost control and regulations
7. Highly motivated, energetic individual, with inquiring mind set and willingness to take up new challenges 8. Good interpersonal and communication

Job Description

• Oversee project execution during design, construction and testing and commission works for water and wastewater treatment works or process plant engineering and construction works.
• Lead the technical presentation to Client and Consultant
• Coordinate with Client, Consultant, Client Site Technical Representative(s), Subcontractors and Suppliers during project execution.
• Process Mechanical Work Design in water and wastewater treatment plants and pumping station and pipeline.
