• Develop & implement Project Quality Plan, all QA/QC inspection and testing, as required by contract specifications or by regulatory requirements;
• Lead and manage the QA/QC team in the various disciplines including but not limited to qualified welding and fabrication inspection;
• Oversee preparation of Welding Procedure Specification/Procedure, Qualification Record and Quality Procedures;
• Ensure compliance to the overall Quality Management System, policies and standards and proper and smooth execution of all quality related activities in meeting the specified standards and requirements.
• Develop and implement preventive measure and corrective actions for non-conforming products include training to ensure awareness of quality procedures and specific responsibilities in the QA/QC process;
• Prepare weekly & monthly reports on QAQC matters;
• Liaise and attend with consultants and subcontractors for QAQC activities;
• Plan and organize mockups and trade demonstration to ensure compliance to approved method statement and inspection test plan;
• Manage testing schedule for SO/Representative witnessing and ensure compliance to project test requirements;
• Conduct inspections to in-progress / completed works and ensure Works are in accordance to project specification and approved construction drawings;
• Raise report of any non-conformances and carry out root cause analysis;
• Monitor corrective actions and process improvement;
• Manage subcontractors to clear defects and achieve required CONQUAS target;
• Document QAQC records and prepare handover packages

Requirements

• Degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the setting up, day to day management, testing and inspecting, auditing and reporting of all aspects of the QA/QC of similar major projects in the waste, oil and gas, water or power sectors.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the implementation and management of quality control systems.
• Able to demonstrate implementation, documentation & monitoring experience in the development and application of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Able to audit QA/QC activities of the staff and sub-contractors to assess conformance with the QA/QC procedures.
• Positive working attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Develop and document moulding processes, ensuring they meet all technical and quality standards, including DOE and process window study.
• Utilize scientific moulding principles to analyse and troubleshoot process issues, implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Preparation of process-related technical documentation, like FMEA, validation protocol, engineering report, evaluation processing parameters and data.
• Trial new tooling and equipment and make modifications as needed to meet quality and production goals.
• Liaison with customer engineering teams, incorporate customer engineering concepts, and ideas into feasible designs to fit facility/company manufacturing process.
• Use creative skills to assist in solving design or manufacturing issues or constraints. • Provide primary tooling component and packaging cost input for quotation of new business.
• Work closely with the internal engineering team and outside vendors in tooling, equipment, component and material development.
• Work closely with customers on product, project or system development issues. Keep up on the latest industry standards, processes and procedures.
• Participate in formal improvement team activities.
• Support all development and initiate improvements to achieve business objectives. • Travel to other sites and customer sites to perform testing onsite and knowledge transfer when required.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• 5 years of hands-on working experience and process DOE will be a plus. Experience in the Medical Device Manufacturing industry.
• Experience in LSR will be a plus.
• Experience in Minitab software will be a plus.
• ISO9001 and ISO13485 awareness certification will be a plus.
• Good communication skills.
• Lead the technical team and provide training where required.

Our client is a leading global manufacturer of polymer. They are currently seeking for Process Technicians to operate and monitor their manufacturing process.

The role of the Process Technician includes:

• Operate the process to meet the conditions specified in manuals/instructions
• Operate the process equipment at site in accordance with operation plan.
• Take measures to improve production status and equipment performance on productivity and quality after approval of shift senior technician
• Patrol plant process, confirm the condition of process and equipment and report disordered matter to senior shift technicians.
• Prepare and organised patrol records.
• Take a sampling for analysis of products and process evaluation.
• Report all incidents, near misses, deviation from plan and take part in further investigation when required.
• Assist in coordination of daily maintenance planning and participate in maintenance activities and shutdown/start-up of sections.
• Provide support for maintenance group /quality control group if any problem arises.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma or NITEC in Chemical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in chemical plant. The experience in polymerization unit and extrusion unit or a minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing plant such compounding or extrusion is advantageous.

• Review engineering standards/specifications/drawings, tender, quotations and proposal documents.

Requirement

• Familiar with process & mechanical design code of practice and standards in Singapore, EN, ASME & PED.

• Familiar with Microsoft Office software.
