Job Summary

This role has a direct reporting line to the CFO. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting all Business Units (BU) on all finance-related matters, including financial analysis, cost modeling, preparation and review of monthly and annual accounts, annual budgets and forecasts. Role and team:

The Internal Audit Manager will lead audit projects, assess risks, evaluate internal controls, and spearhead Internal Audit representation across the APAC region. The candidate is required to have proven audit expertise with strong SAAS/ Technology business acumen to drive improvements in operational efficiency, compliance, and governance.

This position will be reporting to Director of Internal Audit based in the US HQ in Santa Clara.

This is a project manager and currently does not have people supervisory responsibilities.

Assurance Engagements

• Strengthen the ServiceNow’s internal control environment through assessing and evaluating internal controls over sales and marketing business functions(direct sales, sales operations, channel sales, services, revenue, marketing, sales commissions, etc.), including operational, financial and ABAC and other compliance areas
• Performs an internal audit annual risk assessment with ServiceNow’s APAC management team input to determine internal audit scope / plan for the period

Governance and Advisory

• Assist and support regional stakeholders with internal control improvements in anticipation of external and internal audits

• Monitor and follow up on audit findings, coordinating with departments to implement corrective actions on time, ensuring closed-loop internal control management

• To conduct feasibility studies and writing procurement reports
• Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan

• Dealing effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes, where applicable referring major changes to line manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Finance to join the Finance & Risk team. Reporting to the HOD of Finance & Risk Management, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Foundation’s delivery of healthcare service by leading and managing the Finance Operations, accounting and financial reporting functions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of financial processes and controls, to provide financial insights that aligns with the Foundation’s strategic objectives, enhancing financial performance and supporting decision making at the highest level. Your responsibilities are as follows:

1. Leadership of Finance Operations & Accounting management

• Oversee all aspects of finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory management, and fixed assets.
• Lead the team to ensure that financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently, complying with internal controls and policies.
• Streamline and optimize financial operations and upstream processes.

2. Financial Reporting & Closing

• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.
• Provide Senior Management with comprehensive financial reports, offering detailed analysis, indicators and actionable insights that supports decision-making.
• Oversight to the Foundation’s budgetary and forecasts to ensure the robustness of the projections with what-if analysis.

3. Financial Controls, Risk Management & Process Improvement

• Implement improvements to internal controls, accounting processes, and reporting systems to safeguard the integrity of financial operations.
• Evaluate, refine and enhance financial controls, systems, and procedures to mitigate financial risks and emerging challenges.

4. Statutory Compliance & Financial Stewardship

• Act as the primary liaison with external auditors to ensure the timely completion of statutory audits, annual certifications, and compliance submissions.
• Stay abreast of changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and regulations, ensuring that the Foundation meets all statutory obligations and maintains the highest standards of financial integrity and stewardship.

5. System Development and Team Leadership

• Act as a subject matter expert in interpreting and applying financial policies, providing guidance on complex financial transactions.
• Advise leadership and departments on financial decisions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Contribute to cross-functional corporate projects and support the implementation of financial initiatives across the organization.

6. System Development and Team Leadership

• Provide leadership to the finance team in both operations and systems.
• Lead the secretariat function of Finance Committee and any other Committee as needed to uphold the governance structure of the Foundation
• Supervise, mentor, and develop finance professionals by setting clear objectives, offering continuous feedback, and providing ongoing training.
• Encourage cross-functional collaboration, enhancing both team productivity and employee engagement.

7. Stakeholder Engagement & Financial Stewardship

Qualifications

• Degree in accountancy, Finance or related business discipline
• Professional qualification in CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles with at least 3 to 4 years in a managerial capacity
• Significant experience in leading or overseeing statutory audits, compliance reporting and working with both external and internal auditors
• Prior experience in non-profit organisations, grant management and financial system implementation preferred
