This position will be based in Singapore , reporting to procurement manager .

Expected to use their specialized knowledge to maintain an efficient procurement system to supply cost effective materials and services to support the company’s operations.

Job Responsibilities

Procurement Operations and Data Maintenance

• Support the procurement end to end function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations. Act as an interface between suppliers and relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities.

• Maintain system integrity of supplier’s info in the ERP system, such as items suppliers connect, purchasing agreements and supplier basic data like MOQ, order multiple, purchasers responsible and supplier maintenance.

Sourcing

• Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down, new programs and improvement opportunities or mitigate the risk.

• Create and review opportunities on alternative materials and or suppliers to meet the business unit objectives in procurement activities and deliver best values and business savings.

• Collaborating with quality team to understand company/s needs as well as work with our existing/new suppliers to determine company strategic alignment.

SNOP

• Understand the trend of raw material / feedstock related, update the information to commercial team, provide analysis on costs, new and cost savings activities. Develop strong partnership with suppliers.

• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers, provide analysis on costs, new and existing and review cost to achieve savings. Establish r/s with suppliers to leverage the needs in term on tight supply situation as well as to be ahead of the market requirement.

• Contribute and communicate the impact on Procurement activities to new business initiatives and projects. Involve in Global procurement project activities.

Vendor Management

• Assess and evaluate supplier’s performance reviews, compiling data relating to supplier performance to enable evaluation.

• To audit supplier supply capability and quality standard when required. Maintain proper documentation in accordance with ISO procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Degree Holders with at least 5 years of working experience in end to end procurement related field in manufacturing environment

• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in related field preferably in petrochemical or polymers related industry

• Possess strong sourcing and negotiation skills.

• Accountable team worker, proactive, problem solving and analytical abilities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work productively and collaboratively with multi-functional teams to achieve business goals.

• Candidates with good experience in petrochemical raw material commodity price trend analysis will be at advantage

• Familiar with SnOP process would be added point

• This position required to manage overseas vendor from China

Job Summary: PROCUREMENT COORDINATOR/EXECUTIVE

The Procurement Coordinator/Executive is responsible for participating in routine sourcing and purchasing activities to obtain the materials, equipment and services to deliver on projects involving ships, rigs and/or conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in process of Procure-to Pay, generate, validate and maintain change of SAP Purchase Order according to business needs
• Liaising with the Procurement Centers worldwide to maintain and update local master data regarding regional/global frame contracts to be used
• Imputing and maintaining data in procurement related tools and applications
• Develop and recommend specific sourcing scenarios on the basis of spend analysis findings, extensive knowledge of the relevant supply markets and consolidated business requirements
• Assess and measure potential risks' exposures (supply, financial, image/reputation) and establish contingency plans to prevent and/or mitigate their impacts accordingly to risk management strategies defined by Procurement functions
• Support Procurement Manager to determine price forecasts for budget cycles
• Monitor customer (internal) and vendor (external) compliance with procurement Principles & Practices within the assigned category group(s)
• Negotiates and reviews long-term contracts with suppliers to ensure optimum cost and reliable supply
• To source and on-board potential new suppliers where required, and to follow correct procedures and documentation when engaging suppliers
• Ensure that all assigned supplier contracts are up to date and electronic and paper copies are stored appropriately

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in disciplines such as economics, engineering, business administration, supply chain management., or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Candidates with marketing experience in Lithium Battery industry will have an advantage.
• Proven experience in Purchase, preferably in the battery or materials industry.
• Strong understanding of lithium battery technologies and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in communication, both oral and written (English/Chinese)

• Lead and manage a team to set supplier agreements based on sales and operations needs.
• Provide the Asia Pacific region with a range of sea freight and intermodal service providers.
• Research market developments and competition rates; act on findings.
• Build and expand relationships with new and existing suppliers.
• Work closely with suppliers, other offices, forwarders, and agents on rate offers and negotiations.
• File and maintain supplier information, rates, and surcharges in our Internal Vendor System.
• Monitor and manage the expiration of various rates in the Vendor System.
• Handle and control all rate negotiations with suppliers.
• Look for ways to make the best use of the supplier portfolio.
• Manage, support, and assist the regional procurement team in daily activities.
• Assist the Superior in other procurement duties as needed.
