• Ensure systems are installed and operating safety and in compliance with pertinent environmental health/safety practice, rules and regulations.
• Ensure necessary commissioning and qualification of systems is completed in alignment with GMP requirements and interact with regulatory inspectors as necessary.
• Providing troubleshooting support to reduce production downtime. This will involve leading and/or supporting technical root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventive action.
• Support new product/technology introductions by performing engineering assessments, implementing equipment modifications, and supporting engineering runs.
• Communicating proactively with supervisor and support staff, highlighting issues and proposing solutions
• Create, review, revise and approve technical reports and engineering documents such as URS, FS, SDS, P&IDs, etc.
• Serve as a lead in holding meetings for risk assessments and hazards analysis of SMEs s e.g. microbial control risk assessments.
• Support the technology transfer of new products/processes e.g. perform field testing.
• Collaborative Work: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant life science field (e.g., biology, biotechnology, biochemistry). ·
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.

Job Scope
Perform daily monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of backup jobs on platforms (MS Active Directory, Exchange, Oracle, SQL Server, Windows, VMware, and UNIX servers).
Manage and support Storage systems, including vulnerability remediation, capacity management, configuration management, provisioning and zoning of new servers using SAN switches.
Analyse backup software performance accordingly to meet client needs and monitoring of scheduled backups to ensure success or take remedial action for failures
Provide backup system data statistics to management.
Perform regular DR (Disaster Recovery) test plan of backup data restoration and storage replication availability.
Monitor usage and performance of storage and perform capacity planning for storage growth to management.
Manage storage and backup changes through change request process & provide status reports to the relevant parties.
Respond promptly to incident, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
Monitor the agreed service level, document & maintain the configuration of the systems; provide regular reporting to relevant parties.
Ensure service levels meet requirements. Propose and implement action plan when required.

Who we are looking for
Degree/Diploma in Computer Information system or related field
Preferred knowledge in EMC Networker / EMC Data Domain / VEEAM
Proficient in storage and backup 3 - 5 years relevant working experience (Preferably in Business Continuity Planning / Disaster Recovery)
Working knowledge in Veritas Netbackup / EMC ISILON / EMC VMAX / EMC POWERMAX would be good but not a must.
Understanding of orchestration and automation methodologies pertaining to the specific needs of service provider environments.

• Professional Cert: AWS Certified, Kubernetes Administrator or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• Min 3 to 5 yrs experience Rancher, AWS EKS, including cluster creation, configuration, and management
• Min. 3 yrs exp Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation
