Fabrica AI is reinventing how robots are developed. Currently novel robots take 5-20 years. We are building a design automation platform to bring it down to a month, and have already demonstrated significant progress by developing tile grouting robots in record time. Building robots and a design automation platform together brings great synergy - the platform helps us develop robots faster than anyone else and the robots allow us to gather data and do experiments at scale. Data gathering can be done through partnerships with other robotics companies, but doing experiments is crucial for grounding the platform in reality and ensuring its usefulness. The grouting robots are already deploying daily at construction sites and bringing value to clients. We are currently negotiating sales worth around 500k USD. With manufacturing cost multiple times lower than companies using a traditional robotic arm, our robots have an ROI in weeks. Our robot is also small and simple to use, operating from a single button without the need to upload floorplans or do any complex setup. The Supplier Quality Engineer will be based in Changi South.

Job Responsibilities

• Attend day to day part quality issues / MRB reviews.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all supplier-related quality issues.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with internal teams, such as Engineering, Procurement / Buyer, Planner, Operation, Logistic to address any supplier-related quality issues.
• Collaborating with suppliers to identify root causes of quality issues and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions. Review CAPA effectiveness, ensure no repeating occurrence.
• Work with IQC team in reviewing incoming parts from suppliers with no defects and ensure quality.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between suppliers and internal stakeholders as well as customers.
• Seek for Continuous Improvement with suppliers.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in supplier quality processes and systems.
• Lead initiatives to reduce defect rates and improve overall supplier performance.
• Collaborate with suppliers on process improvements and quality control enhancements.
• Support supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support evaluation and approve new suppliers based on quality performance and capability assessments.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation related to supplier audits, evaluations, and inspections.
• Supports supply chain in the selection and qualification of suppliers’ parts being procured - FAI (First Article Inspection).
• Any ad-hoc duty as assigned by Superior.

Job Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field with minimum 3-4 years of related experience.
• Requires experience in supplier quality engineering within the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, internal teams, and customers.
• Able to read blueprints and/or drawing standards.

• Evaluate design package and prepare shop drawing of RC structural works and temporary works.
• Liaise structural design works with design-relevant counter parties and construction team.
• Design of temporary works related to structural design.
• Lead the project department in solving design related matters.
• Manage production, quality, design & engineering and schedule issue.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of civil & structural works experience in Infrastructure/LTA Projects.
• Proficient in STADD, AutoCAD, MicroStation.
