Job Description:

• Handle project planning, scheduling, monitoring and updating to meet project completion targets
• Perform site planning, coordination and inspection relating to the construction project so as to ensure that project completion timeline, requirements and budget are met
• Liaise with the BIM team to update the drawings or BIM Model with the latest information available timely
• Prepare as-built drawings or BIM Model and compile O&M Manual for submission

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Recognized Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Structural Engineering or equivalent approved by PEB, BOA or SISV
• Good knowledge of technical design and engineering, construction methodology and construction planning

Cost Transformation and Energy Management

● Support cost transformation for utilities program. Will be the project owner, ensuring projects are implemented on schedule, validated in accordance to commitment and accuracy of reports. Conduct analysis; identify risks and proposal for mitigation and to report out to the governance committee.

● Support the site energy efficiency program and introduce good energy management practices to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. The Project Engineer for the project will be responsible for managing and overseeing the technical aspects of the offshore substation engineering, procurement, construction, transport & installation, and commissioning processes. This role involves ensuring that all engineering activities are conducted in accordance with project specifications, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The Project Engineer will work closely with the engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure the successful execution of the offshore substation project.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Engineering and Technical Support:

• Coordinate and oversee the detailed design activities for the offshore substation, ensuring compliance with Employer Requirement, industry standards (e.g., IEC, DNV, ISO), and safety regulations.
• Support performing engineering calculations, simulations, and assessments to verify the integrity of designs and ensure that all technical requirements (e.g., electrical, mechanical, structural) are met.
• Provide technical support to the project team during design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases. Address any technical queries and assist with resolving complex engineering challenges.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

Experience

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in project engineering, with at least 3 years in offshore energy projects (e.g., offshore substations, offshore wind, or oil & gas industry).
