Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Spark and Scala to process large datasets.

• Implement and manage Elasticsearch clusters for efficient data retrieval and analysis.

• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide support for analytical solutions.

• Utilize Quantexa for entity resolution and network analytics to enhance data quality and insights.

• Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Document data processes and ensure best practices in data engineering are followed.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data engineering practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on Spark and Scala.

• Proficiency in Elasticsearch for search and analytics applications.

• Familiarity with Quantexa or similar tools for data enrichment and entity resolution.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.

Devops Engineer (Banking / Contract)

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage secure, scalable, and efficient cloud-based systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Storage.
• Migrate on-premises infrastructure to GCP, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) and other security measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Optimize system performance, monitoring, and logging using GCP tools like Stackdriver and Cloud Monitoring.
• Stay up-to-date with GCP innovations and best practices, applying expertise to continuously improve cloud architecture.

Requirements:

• Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Developer or Cloud Architect certification.
• 2+ years of experience in cloud computing, preferably with GCP.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, migration, and deployment.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) or on-premises infrastructure.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and software engineering teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions for customers.
• Migrate on-premises workload to Cloud Service Providers.
• Plan, design and develop cloud infrastructure necessary to support Anacle's software applications.
• Monitor cloud systems for optimal performance and establishes and monitors best practices, policies, and procedures.

Essential Skills and Experience

• At least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud technologies – AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Fresh graduates, or anyone with relevant working experience
• Good background in Operating System administration for Linux/Unix and/or Microsoft Windows Server.
• Proficient in networking concepts (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls)
• Hands on experience in managing public cloud including developing and deploying large, scalable production applications on cloud/Iaas, Paas platforms and Containers. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Working knowledge of DevOps software development tools and methodologies is an advantage.
• Cloud service providers’ certification will be a plus
• Able to work after office hours depending on project needs
• Able to handle multiple tasks and priorities using effective organisational and time management skills.
• A good team player who is able to work in a fast-paced environment.
