Job Description:

Our Embedded Engineers form a world-class, skilled engineering team that develops applications and drivers for our embedded products. As an Embedded Engineer, you will work closely with our software and hardware engineers to work on product evolution as well as support existing products. This role requires a highly versatile skill set and you will have opportunities to contribute to all relevant domains. Your responsibilities will include development and enhancing of new and existing products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or MSc/MEng or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
• Deep understanding of RTOS and bare metal programming on MCUs
• Hands on experience in developing peripheral drivers for I2C, SPI, GPIOs, SDRAM, ADC, Timers etc. on ARM Cortex M based Microcontrollers
• In-depth familiarity with U-Boot
• Experience in developing optimized and time critical code in C/C++
• Hands on FPGA programming (Altera or Xilinx) experience is a plus
• Experience with software architecture and/or API design, complemented by robust integration skills
• The ability to communicate technical information clearly and succinctly to both technical and non-technical team

The position requires engineer to carry out tasks related to IT security assessment, remediation and mitigation of security risks, carry out security patching, Operating System updates, monitoring of critical infrastructure, endpoint security, corrective and schedule preventives maintenance for broadcast IT system and support implementation of broadcast IT system projects.

• Provide technical support to broadcast equipment and systems in News Studios & News Post Production and asset management system, Outside Broadcast production van, News Room Computer System and etc.
• Document, communicate, collaborate, and handle security incidents
• Assess system vulnerabilities and provide guidance, remediate and mitigate the security risks
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of broadcast equipment and system.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance broadcast and IT equipment.
• Work with different business units to provide technical solutions to enhance existing operation and setup
• Evaluate and recommend new broadcast IT equipment and system.
• Support project implementation of broadcast IT system and infrastructures.
• Perform shift and standby duty to support broadcast system and infrastructures.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, IT Security or equivalent. CISSP, CompTIA Security, Certification in Information Technology Security field is an advantage.
• Microsoft certifications such as MCSA preferred
• Project management experience preferred.
• Relevant work experience (1-3 years) in cyber security related field preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of cloud / enterprise security best practices
• Network troubleshooting skills of IT devices maintenance and experience with management and configuration of networking devices (switches, routers, firewalls) will be preferred.
