Job Requirements:

• CCNP or CCIE in Enterprise is required

• Hands-on experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco routers, wireless or switches

• Have some working knowledge of Cisco Routers, Switches, SD-WAN, DNA, Wireless products in addition to Meraki Switch, Router, Wireless products

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines

• At least 3 years of experience in a technical support environment working with Cisco products

• Experience with VMWare NSX and VMWare Load balancers, is an added advantage

• Knowledge of Aruba, Bluecoat, Ironport, F5, Checkpoint, Fortigate or Juniper products is also preferred

• Able to work in a 24x7 and team environment

RESPONSIBILITIES

Summary:

The Senior Data Engineer has a role focusing on building our modern Lakehouse including owning pipeline development, data modeling and governance within a cross-functional team responsible for the end-to-end delivery of data products and analytics solutions.Additionally creating CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and monitoring, and enforce data quality checks, ensuring data consistency, reliability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Data Analysts to ensure business requirements are translated into data solutions, deliver accurate and reliable datasets that enable impactful analytics and dashboards.

They collaborate with System Analysts and the Business to understand the business logic and data lifecycle within our systems and inform our solution design with a goal of balancing scalability and performance.

Skills:

• Collaboration and Communication Skills: Excels at working in a team to align data solutions with business needs, focused on creative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical Thinking & Communication: Strong skills in analyzing and translating data-driven insights and requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Spark & Azure Databricks: Proficiency in designing and implementing data pipelines to support reliable data ingestion and transformation using Databricks and Spark.
• Data Modeling Expertise: Advanced SQL and Python skills for complex queries and data modeling, enabling efficient data access and transformation.
• CI/CD Pipeline Creation: Experience in creating CI/CD pipelines, enabling automated testing, validation, and deployment of data pipelines models using GitHub and GitHub Actions with Databricks.
• Infrastructure as Code: Experience in automating cloud infrastructure management for consistent deployment and scaling using tools like Terraform.

• 5+ Years in Data Engineering: Proven experience building and maintaining data infrastructure, with a deep understanding of data engineering principles and best practices.
• Agile Mindset and Experience: Thrives in Agile Environments, with a strong resilience, adaptability and responsiveness to change in fast-paced settings.

The position will be based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with network design and implementation: Responsible for helping senior engineers in designing and deploying networks that meet the Client requirements.
• Installing and configuring network equipment: Responsible for installing and configuring network hardware such as routers, switches, and Wireless Controllers, Access points etc.
• Documenting network configurations: Responsible to document network configurations, including IP addresses, network topologies, and hardware and software versions.
• Assisting in network upgrades: Responsible to assist senior engineers in upgrading the network hardware and software as and when required.
• Providing technical support: Responsible to provide technical support to users and resolve any network-related issues that may arise during deployment.
• Staying up to date with industry trends and developments: Junior Network Engineers should stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the networking industry and can take up new projects as and when required.

The Individual and their Experience:

• 2 years of experience or exposure within related IT field.
• Having enthusiasm and desire in pursuing in network field
• CCNA certified
• Knowledge of Cisco LAN, WAN, Wireless,
• Willing to commit flexible hours during migration windows and project implementations due to project nature.
• Able to communicate confidently and effectively.
