• New Development and Diversion of Services:

- Take charge and coordinate Service laying with main project team (Developer, Main Contractor) and authorities, including deconflicting with others for new build and diversion.

- Project Manage the implementation of underground ducts and Manholes within new development and service diversion.

- Review method statement and coordination drawings and other relevant construction documents.

• Review 3rd party submission on matters related to Netlink Underground Services

Requirements:

• Civil Engineering Degree with 3-year engineering/construction experience

Job Title: Senior Project Engineer (ID5034)
Location: Ubi
Working Hours: Mon to Fri 8.30am – 6pm
Salary: $3500 to $4500


Job Description:
The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
• To manage projects, monitor progress and ensure smooth completion.
• To coordinate the works of a multi-disciplinary workforce including consultants, external subcontractors and etc.
• To handle project risk management and issues escalation.
• To ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented at work site.
• To provide project status update to management accurately and in a timely manner.
• To attend to maintenance issues during DLP.
• To assists in products specification and datasheet.
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned by Manager.


Requirement:
• Min Diploma holder in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering
• At least 5 years’ experience as Project Engineer in local construction industry
• Motivated to work in challenging, fast paced and result-driven environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of lighting an advantage
• Knowledge of software an advantage, eg. Autocad, Photoshop, Dialux

• Assist the Operation Manager / Project Manager in coordinating site investigation project, planning of location, site clearances, scheduling.
• Obtaining land permission, utilities services clearances and meeting with stakeholders.

Responsible for project management including attending meetings, coordination, design, procurement, tender participation etc. 

Respopnsible for site activities, coordination and supervision works related to engineering and systems design. 

Work with external parties and customers to plan, organize and direct activities concerned with assigned projects. 

Develop project schedules in compliance with customer requirements, deadlines and/or milestones; develop mechanisms to track schedule progress in the field; and update the schedule regularly. 

Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, department design standards and specifications. 

Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field. 

Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status. 

Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.

Produce standard safety document such as method statement and risk assessment on assigned tasks. 

Ensure timely completion of all projects particularly the T/C schedules.

Requirements and skill 

Minimum degree :

in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering field. 

At least 4 years of proven working experience as a Project Engineer or 8 years and above as a Senior Project Engineer in gas piping installation field. 

Excellent knowledge of visualizations software such as AutoCAD. 

Advanced MS Office skills. 

Good knowledge in basic piping design and P&ID
