Responsibilities:

• Support Deputy Director / Head in management and administration of Whole of Government (WoG) Demand Aggregated (DA) contracts.
• Duplicate of WOG DA contracts from Gebiz into iLMS.
• Work with Ministry of Home Affairs decentralized cataloging agencies in assigning of material and services numbers to the WOG DA contracts items.
• Work with Ministry cataloging authority in managing the material and service master.

Requirements:

• Minimum diploma in Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience, preferably in the Government sector.
• Experience with SAP and cataloging.
• Experience in procurement management and use of Gebiz would be an added advantage.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Meticulous and attention to details.

Responsibilities

Prepare project management plan and its sub-plans, such as: work scope statement, schedule plan, manpower plan, tools and equipment plan, procurement plan and OHSE plan

• Provide engineering support in project or plant maintenance • Coordinate internal and external audit review

• Engineering calculations associated with current carrying capacity of cables, wires, fuses and other circuit protective devices.

• Procedures for inspection, testing and certification of electrical fixed installations.

• Industrial hazards, safety and health precautions, and environmental concerns.

• Installation practice and regulations, and relevant codes of practice.

Requirements & Professional Skills•

Min. Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Min. 0-1 year of relevant experience in electrical work

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• ensures all drawings, bills of materials, purchase requisitions and quality checks are completed as per project schedule and ISO 9001 & 14001 processes.
• conducts design reviews to analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
• confers with customer representatives to review specifications and answer questions pertaining to installation of systems.
• supports during manufacturing, assembly, de-bug, and customer buy-off.
• writes technical reports, manuals and technical support documentation
• performs a wide variety of additional functions to meet project schedules and product deliveries
• reads, understands, and acts upon mechanical drawings including piece part and assembly drawings, work instructions, and procedures
• determines manufacturing methods, techniques, and procedures as required to perform tasks as required for to ensure designs perform as required
• designs test fixtures and setups as needs arise
• communicates with vendors to support procurement and to address issues
• Responsible for any other role as assigned by the Project Manager

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or an equivalent degree in related technical field desired
• 3 to 5 years relevant experience in mechanical engineering and material handling systems across various industries.
• AutoCAD and solid works proficiency
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principle involved in production of precision technical drawings, and models
• Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to design and production
• Knowledge of design principles, steel and aluminum part creation, sub assembly and pneumatics.
• Ability to work independently in designing and liaising with customers on technical specifications and requirements
• Participate in and effectively communicate in group discussions and meetings
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• MS Office proficiency
