Summary:

Under the supervision of General Manager, the Operations Manager oversees pest management operations. He is expected to manage multiple sites or projects concurrently as assigned. He is responsible for the overall planning, deployment and management of resources of the assigned projects. He is to ensure that a ll project deliverables and customers’ expectations are met and fulfilled.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan. Pest Management Operations

• Collaborate with the teams in the management of contracts/projects.
• Attend client briefings/meetings to establish expectations, KPIs, service level agreements and related work processes.
• Conduct detailed site assessments to determine actual scope of work onsite and associated risks and challenges.
• Plan the requirements for manpower, materials, tools and equipment as well as supervision for the site.
• Establish action plans to enhance the effectiveness of pest management operations.
• Plan work schedules of teams to ensure pest management work is carried out effectively.

Executive Pest Management Services

• Communicate roles & responsibilities and performance expectations to Supervisors in charge of the site/project.
• Review site operations to track progress and allocate resources effectively.
• Undertake site visits to resolve onsite challenges that may impact scope of work or achievement of service deliverables.
• Submission of Monthly reports before the due date.

Manage safety of Pest Management Services

• Enforce workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations.
• Assess the risks associated with pest management work on site and establish safety procedures, protocols and guidelines.

Manage teams and incidents

• Manage capability development of staff. Analyze and manage incidents and emergencies at work site. Manage and report work-related incident and emergency investigations.

Others

• Participate in tender interviews, customer’s meetings and/or marketing presentations to potential clients to showcase technical capability and experience.
• Attend to other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

• Plan, supervise, and execute recruitment plans to organize the project’s manpower requirements. (Staff and Workers)
• Propose appropriate changes to compensation and benefit structure where necessary.
• Supervise the onboarding process, and ensure that new hires are led through a smooth process and positive experience till their first day of work.
• Lead the Annual Appraisal, Annual Bonus, and Annual Increment exercise.

• Supervise timesheet and payroll administration. Ensure that the payment of salary, bonuses, incentives, increments, and CPF contribution are accurate, timely, and compliant with prevailing legislation.
• Supervise the administration of government claims and levy waivers. Ensure that submissions are accurate and timely.
• Supervise the administration of payslips. Ensure that they are sent timely, and are compliant to legislation.

Employee Relations & Management

• Serve as an advisor to department managers on HR matters.
• Assist department managers with resolving issues related to employee work performance, and disciplinary matters.
• Respond to grievances raised by employees, by investigating and analysing the matter, and seeking solutions that are acceptable for all stakeholders.
• Deliver excellent service to employees by ensuring that all queries raised are promptly and satisfactorily addressed.
