• To ensure that the outlet reaches its sales target
• To maximize profitability of the bar by increasing turnover (revenues and covers). A keen eye for numbers
• To liaise with the Kitchen to ensure a consistently good standard of food quality, efficient profitability and creative presentation

As the General Manager for Business Development, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to expand our market presence, enhance customer relationships, and drive revenue growth. You will lead a team of professionals and work closely with senior management to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscape.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
• Sales Leadership: Lead and manage the business development team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve sales targets.
• Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance business growth.
• Proposal Development: Oversee the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and contracts to potential clients.
• Financial Management: Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance related to business development activities.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports on business development activities, progress, and performance to senior management.
• Innovation: Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the business development team.

Qualifications:

• Education: MBA from a recognized university.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Construction market in Singapore.
• Skills:Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.

  Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.

• Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of computer applications and software relevant to business development.
• Driving License: A valid driving license is preferred.
• Languages: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
