The Analytics & Insights team has been a key contributor to driving Domino’s industry-leading sales growth by pairing strategic thought leadership with the latest analytic techniques in the fields of data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and primary research.

This Specialist role reports to the Director of Asia Analytics & Insights.  This individual will primarily be tasked with helping to drive sales in our largest Asia Pacific markets by consulting with our Master Franchisees’ analytics and insights teams.  This role will also collaborate with International marketing, business consulting, digital, technology, supply chain, and training teams to identify opportunities and set priorities for Domino’s markets worldwide. Success in this role requires a combination of analytics expertise, consulting, and training skillsets to support Master Franchisees at different stages of analytical complexity.   

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consult Domino’s Asia Pacific markets on key topics such as pricing and offers analytics, digital analytics, product development, media effectiveness, and design of experiment.
• Develop a strong understanding of the business, the challenges, and demonstrate the ability to identify additional growth opportunities that can be acted upon
• Establish strong understanding of the broader Analytics & Insights department initiatives and methodologies
• Develop relationships and provide guidance to our Master Franchisees and internal business partners
• Present best practices and recent findings to both internal and international leadership teams
• Take lead role in further development/innovation of analytic tools to support the international field organization
• Build a strong working knowledge of the many internal and external data sources to leverage
• Mine and synthesize across data sources to help address opportunities leveraging SQL and other analytic techniques

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate shall be able to independently manage and drive our indirect and direct procurement services in the contract logistics industry. He or she must be able to lead positively, be persuasive and perseverance towards achieving set goals and KPIs.

This position sits in our Singapore office and will be leading a team of 3 direct reports. He or she shall be a problem solver and a critical thinker, with guts in managing conflict and to do what is right with integrity. He or she shall also lead with empathy, shape, and guide our procurement teams in Singapore to achieving procurement excellence.

1. Establish and manage the Singapore procurement team and strategy which identifies, prioritizes, evaluates, and manages our day-to-day procurement needs and opportunities.
2. Manage the daily procurement operation and oversee completion of tasks performed by Procurement staff.
3. Maintain primary responsibility for the procurement of categories (consumables, equipment, services such as contract labors and local/cross border transports) in Singapore.
4. Provide cost analysis on CAPEX buy and/or lease of category purchases.
5. Actively review on cost saving initiatives and report of savings to the Head of Procurement.
6. Lead business review meetings with all procurement staff to review compliance and implement improvements and best practices.
7. Participate and represent procurement in project procurement, by providing and supporting the business units with our buying rates.
8. Collaborate with Internal Audit to identify areas of weakness and ensure procurement controls are put in place.
9. Develop sourcing and procurement activities that support key business objectives.
10. Establish and enhance supplier relationships to drive sourcing & supplier initiatives to meet or exceed product & service quality, to deliver sustainable cost reductions, while reducing or mitigating risk in the Supply Chain.
11. Provide strategic direction on procurement actions, approval workflows and thresholds, and tracking related to Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders in Singapore.
12. Contract management and preparation/review of contract and agreements.

REQUIREMENTS

• 8 years of experience in related area with Degree/Diploma or 10 years of experience in related area if lower than Diploma Level
• 4 years with related experience in managerial/ senior level position
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement strategies, tactics, processes, procedures, and systems.
• Experience in development of policies and procedures.
• Negotiation skills.
• Adaptable, creative, collaborative, and able to think strategically.
• Ability to lead in the face of complexity in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written).
• Able to work under pressure, take initiative and manage and prioritize work independently.
• Solid experience in related Supply Chain & Logistic software
