The Role

We are seeking an experienced board-certified Avian & Exotics Specialist with a strong background in exotic animal practice. The ideal candidate will have a relevant specialist board certification and veterinary medicine degree and be eligible to obtain a veterinary license from the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVS). This role requires someone with demonstrated specialized knowledge in exotic animal medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Thorough medical examinations: Conduct thorough physical examinations to assess the overall health and identify any abnormalities in exotic patients.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic testing: Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, radiographs, and collaborating with our ultrasonographers and imaging team if advanced imaging is required.
• Plan and execute appropriate treatment: Developing treatment plans and overseeing the team to ensure treatments are carried out appropriately, for both outpatients and inpatients.
• Surgical procedures: Perform surgical procedures as indicated for exotic animals. Collaborate with our anaesthesia team to administer appropriate anaesthesia and analgesia for exotic patients.
• Preventative care: Administering vaccinations, providing nutritional and husbandry advice.
• Emergency care: Responding to exotic animal emergencies directly or via our 24/7 emergency team
• Behavioural consultations may be required: for example, feather-plucking in birds or barbering in rodents
• Administrative tasks: Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for all patients, ensuring compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory requirements. Contribute to department protocols and policies as required.
• Commitment to continuous learning: Stay updated with advancements in exotic animal medicine through ongoing education and professional development.
• We offer a competitive remuneration package of total gross $16,000 to $20,000 per month for the successful candidate.

What will you do?

• Oversee the product “Identity”. Some examples of the data you’ll manage would be: medium description, product weight, instruction sheets and products images (both 2D and 3Ds).
• Work closely with both the technical team in charge of product development and the Schneider web team. Some of these assets are delegated to subcontractors hence you’ll have to supervise their efficiency to avoid budget wasting and make sure that deliverables are published on time.
• Be a key actor in the creation of a safe and high-quality product by leading the quality process preventing customers to make mistakes when using our products.
• Drive the creation of exciting commercial assets enabling our sales colleagues to successfully convert new customers: customer presentations, leaflets, training content, video
• Work with Schneider advertisement expert teams, giving you a wider exposition while letting you discover even more workings of the big Schneider machine.

What qualifications will make you successful?
