Position: Marketing Support (Contract)

Contract: Period: 11 months

Located: Pasir Panjang

Salary: $3,300.00 to $5,000.00 per month

Workdays: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 8.30am to 6.00pm (Mon to Thurs) & 8.30am to 5.30pm (Friday)

JOB SCOPE:

1. Creation of Purchase Order Issuance of Purchase Orders Verifying and ensuring correct approvals are obtained according to SOPs Complete Purchase Requests and ensure supporting documents are digitally filed Creation of Supplier Contracts
2. Perform Change Order, Closing of Purchase Order Perform change order on the Purchase Orders Perform housekeeping of purchase orders when required
3. Support other procurement operations such as publication of tender, retrieval of bids and awards

REQUIREMENTS:

• Tertiary qualification in any discipline
• Knowledge in Government IM on Procurement, use of GeBIZ/WorkDay system will be an advantage
• Organised and meticulous
• Able to effectively interact with and manage stakeholders’ expectations
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• MS Office

Our client is a Global MNC, one of the leading players in the Pharmaceuticals sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Sourcing Specialist (Indirect) to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West – easily accessible

Note: This is a 1-year contract position, renewable and convertible.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the sourcing and management of the assigned category of materials within the Indirect function
• Participate in the entire Source to Pay process flow for the designated category being assigned
• Establish/Attain performance objectives to enhance overall delivered commodity expenses and quality
• Implement/Improve the company’s procurement initiatives and processes, seeking feedback on the effectiveness of the company’s procurement programs
• Acquire materials/components through requisition checks, obtaining the necessary quotations, and issuing the required RFP/RFQ
• Conduct the necessary bid analysis for the company, and handle/oversee the whole process, from contracting to the awarding of tenders
• Identify alternative supply sources in the event where the current vendors/suppliers are insufficient
• Coordinate procurement activities with stakeholders from various departments to maintain healthy inventory levels
• Handle/Oversee the cost and scope of the company’s assigned subcontracts to ensure optimal quality and value
• Update/Maintain all purchasing-related master data (eg. Contract, Source list, and Current Prices etc.)
• Oversee compliance with respect to the company’s procurement policies, and participate/oversee the necessary vendor qualifications
• Standardize the company’s procurement procedures, and manage the various supplier relationships and scorecards
• All other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management or other relevant field of studies
• Minimum 3 years of relevant sourcing experience
