Job Description

• Design and conduct experiments to develop new products, processes, or technologies in the fields of environmental science, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, or petrochemicals.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to guide further research and development efforts.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in environmental science, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and petrochemicals through literature reviews and continuous monitoring of industry trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including chemists, engineers, and other R&D professionals, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to research projects.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless transition from lab-scale to commercial-scale processes.
• Ensure that all research activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and budgets.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Adhere to and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

• PhD in Environmental engineering , Chemical engineering, Biochemical engineering or related fields
• 2 to 5 years of industry experience in environmental, Chemistry, pharmaceutical, petrochemical or related field.
• Knowledge of chemical processes such as incineration, water treatment, distillation and crystallization.
• Awareness for safe handling of chemicals, potentially dangerous materials and equipment.
• Experience designing and conducting bench-scale tests and pilot testing, as well as experience developing and reviewing validation protocols is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge and experience in analytical chemistry, including experience with various analytical equipment is an advantage.

We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our Telco Team as an Operations Support Specialist. This role will play a pivotal part in maintaining smooth operations within the telecommunications department by managing invoices, handling escalations, and assisting with key projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Invoice Payments Management:

Timely processing and approval of vendor invoices.

Verification of invoice accuracy and compliance with contract terms.

Coordination with the Finance team to ensure timely payment to vendors.

2. Line Operations:

Conduct regular line audits to identify discrepancies, anomalies, or non-compliance in mobile line data.

Collaborate with the IT and Telecom teams to resolve audit findings and ensure data accuracy.

Implement improvements to audit processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

3. Telco Request Management:

Receive and manage telecom service requests through task management systems.

Ensure requests are assigned, tracked, and resolved within defined SLAs.

Collaborate with various stakeholders to fulfill service requests promptly.

4. User Escalations:

Act as a point of contact for users experiencing issues or escalations related to telecom services.

Investigate and resolve user concerns in a timely and customer-focused manner.

Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams for resolution.

5. Process Improvement & Project Support

Process Analysis: Analyzing existing processes to identify areas for improvement, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks.

Recommendations: Developing and proposing process improvement recommendations, including changes to workflows, procedures, and systems.

Project Support: Assisting project managers and teams in various project-related tasks, such as data analysis, documentation, and coordination.

Qualifications:
2-3 years experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in operations support, invoice management, and project coordination within the telecommunications or related industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data for informed decision-making.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with internal teams and external vendors.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
Self-motivated and proactive with a problem-solving mindset to address operational challenges and escalations.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

• Point-of-contact (POC) in dept to guide managers on contract lifecycle management workflow and works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure governance requirements (working closely with Group Procurement Services team) are met, where relevant.
