Key Responsibilities

• Establish best practices to ensure cloud redundancy and enable data backups.
• Create disaster recovery plans detailing procedures for swiftly restoring cloud systems after a disruptive event.
• Design and implement regular disaster recovery (DR) tests to validate DR plans, ensuring the cloud systems meet defined RTO and RPO targets.
• Provide recommendations for improving DR plans as new cloud recovery technologies emerge, enhancing system resilience.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience identifying deficiencies in cloud recovery strategies, plans, and internal processes.
• Knowledge of best cloud organisational practices, operational risk management processes, architectural requirements, and vulnerability risk.
• Experience conducting comprehensive risk assessments of information systems, applications, and processes to identify potential vulnerabilities, threats, and impacts.
