About the Third Party Risk Management Specialist - APAC

Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Specialist - APAC is the intermediate level role in Wise’s Third party Risk management. This individual is responsible for ensuring the outsourcing activities comply with relevant outsourcing regulations and laws, align with internal policies and procedures, and are effectively governed to minimise risk exposure in the regional level. The role involves coordinating TPRM efforts globally, supporting regional stakeholders teams, coordinating audit finding and other gaps, and facilitating reporting activities in the APAC region. 

The specialist will collaborate with local internal teams and other stakeholders to manage and report on outsourcing risks, ensuring effective third-party risk management across the company.

Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Specialist - APAC duties and responsibilities:

1. Outsourcing risk communication and remediation support
   
   Facilitate the presentation of regional outsourcing risk profiles locally. Provide support for outsourcing-related remediation activities, ensuring that control measures are fit for purpose and meet country-specific requirements and align with global program. 
    
2. Support with risk appetites and KRIs
   
   The specialist assists in establishing and defining the risk appetite for entities, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and risk management strategies. Role to perform KRIs mapping to identify and monitor key risk indicators.
    
3. Global-Regional coordination and oversight
   
   Lead global coordination efforts of TPRM program regionally, overseeing the alignment of policies and procedures with regulatory requirements, supporting regional teams in their TPRM activities, and providing oversight for policy adherence and procedure effectiveness.
    
4. Regional Compliance and Regulatory expertise
   
   Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regional outsourcing regulations globally and related  laws  affecting third-party risk management. Ensure the TPRM program aligns with regional regulatory requirements and best practices, and design a strategic foundation for building processes and operationalizing relevant regulatory expectations.
    
5. Reporting and audits
   
   Support regulatory reporting requirements, Risk Committees and local Boards, ensuring that information regarding critical vendors are presented and with the updated risk status, maintaining local outsourcing registers in compliance with regulatory mandates is accurately and timely reported and communicated.
    
6. Support and collaboration with regional teams
   
   Coordinate with regional teams to identify and address regional issues and challenges in the TPRM area, ensuring that the Wise's third-party risk management efforts are cohesive and aligned across all operational areas and regions. 
    
7. Build third party risk awareness and trainings 
   
   Build and embed a culture of awareness about third-party processes, and deliver training and workshops to stakeholders involved in managing third-party relationships, continuously improving their understanding of processes and the TPRM program.
   
   The Specialist is reporting directly to the Third Party Risk Management Lead.

REVIEW OF CAR (CORRECTIVE ACTION REPORT) FROM FOOD SAFETY

• Ensure Corrective Action Report are sent out immediately to Suppliers should a complaints raised by Food Safety
• Ensure substitution of supplies are replace immediately for operation use
• Ensure Suppliers that works with the hotels are Food Safety compliances
• Ensure Suppliers approved Vendors are SFA approved & meet the grade criteria
• Ensure all food/beverage licenses and certificates approved by authorities are valid

COST MANAGEMENT

• Assist in developing and implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service.
• Analyze spending patterns and identify areas for potential savings or optimization
• Participate in budgeting and financial planning processes related to procurement activities.

COMPLIANCE AND DOCUMENTATION

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Assist in conducting periodic reviews and audits to ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

Qualifications:

As a growth marketing specialist you will develop user insights, understand ideal consumer journeys,  and build scalable communication avenues through the use of CRM and Mobile technology, and further enhance our growth strategy. Role: 

• Manage a scalable marketing communications platform through strategic and data-led CRM programmes and product feature roll-outs.
• Plan and develop a content calendar (push notifications, email, in-app) on a monthly basis, including managing a process to intake content suggestions from internal stakeholders (e.g., feature teams, marketing teams).

Job Purpose

This is an Individual role. S/He supports on plant maintenance, follow up of CC & A3r, technical document update, MOC, and plant upgrading projects.

Job Highlights

· Plant Maintenance activities, e.g. Inspection, plan, documentation, etc.

· Follow up on actions of compliant check, HAZOP/process safety review, and audits.

· Maintain and update of technical document incl. P&ID, SOP, inspection list, MOC, etc.

Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Safety Engineering or equivalent.

· Quick learning and able to work independent

Here’s how you’ll be contributing to the APAC Payment Operations Team

• Maintaining consistent and high level execution of recurring tasks & responsibilities within the designated domain;

Purpose: The role will be responsible for performing equipment assembly according to assembly drawings that are able to meet customers' requirements and specifications.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

· Perform basic & advanced machine electrical wiring works.

· Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly.

· Perform assembly per assembly drawing, Bill of Material, Electrical and Pneumatic control diagram.

· Perform alignment, test, process inspection, integration, and product release procedures.

· Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits.

· Perform reporting in shop floor control system

· To ensure quality, efficiency, and delivery performance.

· Perform periodical calibration and maintenance for assembly tools.

· Handling quality and shipment documents.

· Participate in programs for improvement.

Qualification & Experiences:

· Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent course

Job Description

· Perform tasks involved with sourcing, purchasing and expediting of goods and services from suppliers, service provider and contractors.

· Attend daily requests for sourcing of goods and services under his / her portfolio from production and other users.

· Check and ensure purchase requisitions are complete and duly authorized before sending request for quotations (RFQ) to approved supplier and competitive sources

· Liaise with suppliers for quotations / proposals, conducts negotiation with suppliers, co-ordinate technical clarification / work scopes / schedules from suppliers / service providers with users where necessary.

· Prepare commercial bid evaluations for next level approvals for purchase confirmation.

· Raise purchase orders according to establish system and follow up on deliveries.

· Ensure that all data of purchase are accurately entered into the Purchasing System.

· Conduct supplier appraisals.

· Perform additional purchasing related tasks from time to time.

Requirements

· Diploma in Supply Chain, Material Management, Marine Engineering or equivalent.

· Experience: Preferably 2-3 years of experience in procurement or related work.

Manage the procurement process such as receiving the receipt of goods from suppliers, making sure suppliers are paid and returns are processed promptly.

• Responsible for the purchasing and monitoring of on-time delivery of materials, components and services to meet factory’s requirements on part deliveries and program deliverables.
• Aggressive expediting of orders and persistence in ensuring on-time delivery.
• Ensure routine purchasing deliverables are maintained and communicated to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Setup and manage mitigation plans on critical materials to meet Lead time requirements, Risk of non-supply etc.
• Pursue and/or purchasing process improvement to ensure efficiency of work.
• Manage supplier relationship and performance in term of delivery participate in supplier performance review and improvement plan to develop suppliers to meet company's target. Support in areas of Q & C. Or as assigned.

Qualification & Experiences:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronic Engineering

• Strong knowledge of managing global suppliers with good negotiation skills
• Positive attitude and independent with high ownership of responsibilities

Purpose: To support in the preparation and processing of monthly routine payroll functions such as computing employees’ salary, benefits, claims and processing government related claims in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

· Process monthly payroll to ensure that all employees received their monthly salary on time and in the correct amount

· Administer employee-related insurance and flexible benefits scheme in accordance to insurance and HR policies

· Manage statutory claims such as NS Make-Up Pay claims, Government-Paid Leave claims, etc. in accordance with government policies

· Handle employees’ enquires relating to payroll and employee benefits

· Maintenance of employee data and proper filing of essential documents to ensure that latest employee data is available when required

· Upon request by employees, prepare employment certifications letters and supporting documents for reference checks by external parties.

Qualification & Experiences:

· Diploma / Degree in relevant discipline (E.g. Business Administration, Human Resource)

· At least 3 years of relevant experience in payroll administration and management

· Prior experience in payroll-related role, preferably using Times software, will be an added advantage

· Organised and meticulous in handling confidential information

· Able to work independently and as part of a team

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
