As Location Support Specialist, you will handle a wide range of tasks involving hands-on support for end users. The role can be seen as Support Services’ pro-longed arm on site to provide technical assistance and support in troubleshooting.  

Key responsibilities

• Act as Support Services’ extended arm on site for technical assistance and troubleshooting. Provide hands-on support for end users for incidents that cannot be solved remotely.
• Responsible for on-site configurations, installations and inspections of products and services (e.g. hardware for new employees).
• Provide technical assistance such as troubleshooting of malfunctioning software and hardware, as well as perform local installations for offices and warehouses only.
• Responsible for documentation and communication of ongoing assignments, progress, and potential areas of improvement.

- Operational Oversight

- Risk Management

• Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with digital asset custody.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, scenario analysis, and stress testing to evaluate the impact of potential adverse events.
• Monitor and analyze emerging risks in the cryptocurrency market, including regulatory changes, technological advancements, and market trends.
• Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.

- Stakeholder Communication

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including  clients, regulators, and auditors.
• Prepare and present reports on risk and operational performance to senior management and the board of directors.

• Response swiftly to feedbacks/complaints/ no stock situation etc (from end users/suppliers/guest)

• Handle RFQ as well as RFP exercises for all categories of Supplies including Services
• Tabulating of Price Summary and recommendation of award for various work streams that are assign to

• Ensure Suppliers that works with the hotels are Food Safety compliances
• Ensure Suppliers approved Vendors are SFA approved & meet the grade criteria
• Ensure all food/beverage licenses and certificates approved by authorities are valid

COST MANAGEMENT

• Assist in developing and implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service.
• Analyze spending patterns and identify areas for potential savings or optimization
• Participate in budgeting and financial planning processes related to procurement activities.

COMPLIANCE AND DOCUMENTATION

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all procurement activities.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree or equivalent

Your Career

Main objective of the position

In this role, the POSM Procurement Specialist will be part of a vibrant LVMH Fragrances & Cosmetics Singapore Logistics Team who is responsible for the success of the downstream supply chain.
