Job Description:

• Administers document revision control to ensure appropriate security based on business need
• Assists with the assessment, and/or deployment of electronic document management systems
• Provide additional support to the organization as required including maintaining original documents, loading PDFs into the SharePoint, updating controlled lists
• You will be responsible for seamless, rapid and global implementation of material, BOMs, and product data supporting the business strategies and supply chain requirements via the Change Orderprocess management
• Analyze, process, and track Change Orders and other design documentation submissions to minimize processing time between submission and implementation, optimizing department throughput
• Interface with all necessary individuals in supporting departments in order to accurately process changes and structure new products released to mass production or customers

Requirements:

• Diploma and above of any discipline
• Responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
• Direct experience in process documentation preferred
• You must be motivated to work in a data driven environment
• Knowledge of Agile or alike PLM tools preferred
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Ability to be organized, detailed-oriented, multitasked, prioritized, and meeting deadlines as needed
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and a positive work attitude.

Our client is a global MNC in Chemical Manufacturing Industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Chemical Procurement Specialist to be part of their Procurement Team. They are located in the West - easily accessible (Transportation Provided)

Duties of Procurement/ Sourcing Specialist:

• Source for both Direct and Indirect Material, as well as Equipment categories.
• Prepare and consolidate monthly savings reports and pipeline data in the procurement portal.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies and cost-saving projects.
• Collaborate with the Regional Category Team on strategy development.
• Engage suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet project milestones.
• Develop alternative suppliers and coordinate their qualification and approval.
• Assemble contracts to ensure supply security and meet procurement goals.
• Work with the Supply Chain team on inventory control, material quality, and process safety.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in related field
• Min 2 - 3 years of experience in similar industry
• Proficient in SAP / Oracle system is highly preferred
