Fabrica AI is reinventing how robots are developed. Currently novel robots take 5-20 years. We are building a design automation platform to bring it down to a month, and have already demonstrated significant progress by developing tile grouting robots in record time. Robotics simulation and reinforcement learning has been advancing a lot making it 1000x cheaper to train robots compared to 5 years ago, and as Jensen Huang said at Nvidia GTC 2024, "the ChatGPT moment for robotics may be just around the corner." A couple other companies are building on the same paradigm shift but we are the only ones using it to automate hardware design, not just software.

Building robots and a design automation platform together brings great synergy - the platform helps us develop robots faster than anyone else and the robots allow us to gather data and do experiments at scale. Data gathering can be done through partnerships with other robotics companies, but doing experiments is crucial for grounding the platform in reality and ensuring its usefulness. The grouting robots are already deploying daily at construction sites and bringing value to clients. We are currently negotiating sales worth around 500k USD. With manufacturing cost multiple times lower than companies using a traditional robotic arm, our robots have an ROI in weeks. Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Utility Manager and coordinates with subcontractors and the construction team on excavation, services diversion, and reinstatement works.
• Provides progress updates for on-site activities, supervises subcontractors' work to ensure it meets the plan, timeline, and quality standards.
• Ensures compliance with statutory requirements, procedures, and safety regulations for utilities and M&E work.

Responsibilities:

• Perform software development activities including requirements gathering and analysis, planning, systems design, development and implementation, documentation, testing and deployment.
• Participate and follow in all areas of the software development lifecycle from requirements definition to deployment.

The Data Engineer plays a crucial role in the creation and maintenance of our advanced data analytics vital to the hospital's data-driven decision-making processes. The role focuses on the acquisition, storage, retrieval, and optimization of data from various sources to support clinical, operational, and research initiatives. Role also supports the work of Group Chief Data Officer (GCDO) for Data Analytics.

Data Sourcing and Collection:
• Identifying and understanding source systems.

• Gathering requirements on frequency, volume, and types of data.
• Ensuring data privacy and compliance measures are in place.

Data Ingestion using Informatica IDMC and/or Spark using Python:
• Designing, implementing, and optimizing data ingestion pipelines. • Ensuring reliability and fault tolerance of ingestion pipelines.
• Handling data transformations, if necessary, during ingestion.
• Collaborate and manage vendors if required to for the data ingestion

Data Lake Management:
• Proper structuring of the data in the DataBricks Lakehouse to ensure it is usable and performant.

Data Quality and Validation:
• Implementing data quality checks and validation rules during ingestion. • Ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and integrity.

• Testing and commissioning of switchboards on board vessels or on-site.
• Attend to warranty claims / quality complaints.

Job description

As a Network Implementation Engineer, you will be the initial point of our efforts to execute deployment, maintenance, and operations of private data networks worldwide. You will work with Technical Program Managers, Network Engineers, Design and Infrastructure Engineers, Field Engineers within Google, as well as construction and telecommunications vendors and contractors, all to position your team and organization for success.

You will facilitate faster, better, and more efficient, positive outcomes for the business and our customers. Your objective will be to build the world’s most reliable, cost-effective and scalable network to support all of our current and future customers and users globally.

Qualifications

• Manage oversight and Quality Assurance (QA) of installation technicians for rack, stack and installation of networking equipment.
• Test and commission routers, optical transport equipment, and other network devices in new and existing network nodes across Google's global network.
• Generate implementation plans and provide technical leadership and guidance during deployment activities.
• Work with project management, network engineering, and rest of the Engineering team to identify in advance potential issues in network installations, including in the areas of facility power Alternating Current/Direct Current. (AC/DC), cooling, security/access, rack layout, and cable management.
• Own network documentation, updating, and maintaining network drawings and plans.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or Telecom Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) or Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) or system design operations methodology.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with field operation technicians, engineers, contractors, or vendors in a telecommunications environment.
• Experience in collaborating across multiple levels and functions.
• Experience in directing field operation technicians, engineers, contractors or vendors in a telecommunications working environment.
