Senior Mechanical Engineer for HVAC Systems shall be handling on designing and delivering mechanical systems for industrial properties in semiconductors, electronics, biopharma, and related industries.

Job / Skills Requirement:

• You should have a bachelor's degree in mechanical.
• You should have sound experience in mechanical systems in designing and installation works related to semiconductors, biopharma, laboratories, data centers, or process buildings.

Fabrica AI is reinventing how robots are developed. Currently novel robots take 5-20 years. We are building a design automation platform to bring it down to a month, and have already demonstrated significant progress by developing tile grouting robots in record time. Job responsibilities

• Define data center system-level, product architecture, and Research and Development, while helping to develop operations and maintenance procedures for systems/processes.
• Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.
• Ensure designs and installations meet requirements (e.g., predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc.).
• Serve as Technical Lead in the region. Collaborate with Operations, Execution, and Construction teams to develop new data center (DC) mechanical infrastructure products and systems.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.
• Experience in mission critical facilities and their mechanical infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Business or relevant field, or professional engineering license.
• Experience in estimating, mechanical design, operation, and commissioning of mission critical data center mechanical equipment.
• Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of mechanical cooling plants, fire suppression systems, fuel oil systems, domestic water systems, and sanitary sewer systems in mission critical facility design and construction environment.
• Experience designing modular building scale assemblies, with an understanding of mechanical tolerances and tolerance analysis.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering and design principles with expertise in medium-scale production, structural beams/elements, and international building codes.

The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver on an industry innovation research project where you will be part of the research team to develop a mobile app for visualising geospatial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in and manage the research project with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met.
