Onsite Support Engineer

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in IT or Equivalent
• Min 2-3 years of hands-on support for IT Services
• Expert knowledge in Microsoft products (Office 365)
• Experience in creating, understanding, and following technical documentation, routines and processes
• Handle incidents and requests defined as per defined in processes and SLA
• Support & assist with setting up remote collaboration tools/systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Develop and implement people, product and technical strategies which incorporate the work of the current corn breeding programs, utilizing germplasm to develop industry leading products for all smallholder and commercial customers in APAC
• Engage with scientific leaders and commercial partners to launch approximately twenty new products per year
• Be the partner with global teams for TI success and ensure pipeline will meet the growth potential of new trait launches and commercialisations
• Be the Key leader of new design innovations and new potential products that enable and impact key business strategies included in Regenerative Agriculture, such as sustainability, water targets, digital agriculture, and carbon markets.
• Lead the development and implementation of innovative breeding strategies and digital technologies leading to significant product performance improvement through accelerated global germplasm usage, faster time to commercialization and utilization of key data assets.
• Ensure alignment of breeding targets, product concepts, testing strategies and data-driven design for all phases of corn Breeding pipelines
• Ensure alignment of seed and resource needs and usage with partners in Trait and Pipeline Delivery, SO&P, and Field Testing in the region and globally.
• Act as the key contributor to APAC Region on technical strategies for corn and across crops.
• Ensure employee development, including growth opportunities for key high potential individuals and senior scientists, strong succession, and change management efforts to prepare for future transformation within the function and workforce
• Be fiscally responsible for capital and budgetary oversight and for care and maintenance of company assets for over 1M of direct budget.
• Drive HS&E, Compliance, Business Conduct and Human Rights focus and culture in the region.

• Assist SRE to manage team of the site supervisors

• Site supervision/inspection of construction works

• Liaise with all parties involved in the project

• Monitor and ensure all works carried out as per specification/approved construction drawings

• Maintain & control site records as per BCA requirement

• minimum four (4) years of relevant experience as a civil engineer

Responsibilities

• Support and provide mechanical engineering design
• Handle design works and/or project management relevant to ACMV, Fire Protection, Sanitary and Plumbing.
• Supervise and coach a team of engineers in mechanical services for the project from concept stage, design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, site administration to project completion
• Act as either Project Manager or Team Leader in projects.
• Act as mentor to new employees.
• Provide technical assistance to engineers.
• Advise engineers on the project administration and contractual issues.
• Conduct technical discussion on common design problems with engineers

Requirements

• Recognised Degree in Mechanical Engineering with PEB Singapore
• Candidate must have min 6 years of relevant working experience in design engineering of ACMV / HVAC, Fire Protection and Plumbing services with Engineering Consultancies in Singapore
• Proven track record of working across organization boundaries to define requirements, solve complex problems and drive programs to successful completion
• Good understanding of Singapore Code of Practice and local authority submission process (LTA / PUB / BCA)
• BIM and CAD capabilities (REVIT / Microstation / Autocad) will be added advantage
