Organizational Relationships: • Reports directly to Project Director.

Authorities: In charge of planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. • Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB)
• Minimum 3 year of experience in constructions or civil engineering
• Those with experience in underground utilities especially cable pipes will be advantageous
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Service-oriented client relationship and people
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Preferably possess a valid Class 3 license

The Assistant Engineer, Production Process Support is responsible for running engineering evaluations, collecting and compiling of data with simple analysis, and part measurements. The incumbent will also manage change order (CO) activities as well as non-conformance part movements.

This position reports to the Production Process Support Manager and is part of the Manufacturing Engineering department located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Assist in running engineering evaluations
• Perform basic statistical analysis
• Understand and apply the process flow of non-conformance material and product change action

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical Engineering
• Relevant experience in lean manufacturing

Job Description

• To participate in the development of a large-scale web application using Microsoft .NET Framework and SQL Server.
• Understands functional requirements from stakeholders and business analysts, and perform impact analysis.
• Develop, unit testing and system integration testing of the application components.
• To support code merging, code compilation and deployment to Development, UAT and Production environments.
• Provide and update software documentation.
• Provide operational support for existing systems by investigating reported issues and resolving them.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or relevant.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in software development using .NET 4.5, C#, ASP.NET, T-SQL using SQL Server 2012 and onwards.
• Have experience in end-to-end software development life cycle.
• Knowledge in web front-end technologies such as CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, etc.
• Knowledge in code version control process and continuous integration process are required.
• Strong analytic skills and problem-solving skills are required.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge in Java and Oracle is preferred, but not required.
• Candidates with longer and relevant working experience may be given senior roles.
• Candidates with experience in technical architecting and design may be given lead roles.
