To run R&D, product development activities and projects related to aerogel such as paints and fire resistant coatings, boards, blankets and other innovation solutions for commercial thermal insulation applications for various industries such as Oil and Gas, Built and Environment, Marine and Offshore and Electric Vehicles. Roles & Responsibilities

• Establish R&D procedures and work processes.

• Identify high-risk activities based on HAZOP studies, collaborate with production managers to develop and implement safety improvement plans.
• Work closely with production and logistics teams to enforce safe work procedures and compliance with HSE protocols.
• Review safety observations, prioritize improvements based on risk levels, and ensure follow-ups via the Management of Change (MOC) process.
• Collaborate with project engineers, production teams, and maintenance coordinators to ensure timely execution of safety-related projects.
• Regularly review and update emergency and disaster prevention procedures to align with current operations.
• Lead and drive HSE-related improvement projects and initiatives.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by superiors.

Our Requirements

• Relevant experience in the chemical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of safety legislation and regulations in the chemical sector.
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Health, Safety, or Environmental disciplines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with critical thinking abilities.
