This Payments Product Manager will play a critical role in shaping and delivering innovative payment solutions across the region. Payment Product Manager will be responsible for:

Product Strategy and Development

• Develop, manage, commercialize, and roll out payment specific products and services in all Asia Pacific countries.
• Formulate and implement payment growth strategies for different industry verticals/client segments.
• Define and execute the payment product roadmap aligned with client needs, digitization goals, growth strategy, operational efficiency, and regulatory requirements.

Product Excellence and Commercialization

• Work with regional and local teams to define and refine product offering in line with market, client and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the commercialization of payment capabilities, ensuring value-added solutions address client pain points.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with Sales, Operations, Service, and Country Stakeholders to understand market, regulatory and client requirements.
• Drive product delivery by collaborating with IT and subject matter experts to establish timelines and ensure execution excellence.
• Drive product readiness for client and internal teams by collaboration with Head office, Operations, Implementation, Service, Sales, Cross functional teams, and country stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is must.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in transaction banking payments product function; experience with product development and delivery within APAC region.

General Description:

Main Duties:

Advisory and Sales

Data Analysis

• Using data analytics tools, identify patterns of behaviour of clients across funds and assist to track client activity, particularly during focus / campaign periods

• Incorporate a ‘targeted’ approach to advisory, using data to customise ideas to specific RMs and clients

Platform / Client Experience

• With clients becoming increasingly digital in their interactions with the bank, the incumbent will be involved in strategic projects that help to reduce friction between the bank and the client, and deliver improvements in the way that we communicate digitally with our clients
• The incumbent will improve client experience through increasing the use of targeted messaging, as well as improve contextualization of our communication with our RMs and clients

Work Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 15 years work experience in Asset Management/Private Bank as a product specialist, with experience in client engagement and customer experience
• Strong investments background, with solid knowledge of alternatives products including private markets funds, hedge funds, private real estate investments, mutual funds, DPM & APM
• Knowledge and hands on experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau and/or Qlikview with the ability to interpret this data and draw conclusions
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to project a high level of professionalism, and effectively communicate with clients, portfolio managers and management in small and large settings
• Experience in Python or similar coding language will be looked upon favourably
