Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that ISO13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 systems are adequately maintained, and continuous improvements are implemented

Job Scope :

Responsibilities:

• Undertake construction supervision as RE of underground building works and civil infrastructure, involving site inspection, meetings and review of drawings and method statements in accordance to customer specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices
• Carry out independent design checks for temporary formwork and formwork support system
• Keep quality records of all works, monitor and report on work progress
• Review and comment on contractor's submissions
• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• Station full-time on site to support Senior Resident Engineers (SRE) and the QP(S) with projects

Requirements:

• Experience in Underground work/ viaduct work
• Minimum Diploma in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an established institution and/or qualification accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as RE for LTA project (MRT, underground, tunnelling works) or PUB project
• Has good working knowledge of Geotechnical and instrumentation works and compliance to Singapore Building Regulations
• Good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Independent, organized with positive work attitude

Working location : East, Singapore

• Directly report to the M&E Manager and assists in carrying out his duties pertaining to the mechanical and electrical aspects including checking method statements, submittal documentation, design proposals, working drawings and the like; Co-ordinates and monitorsn subcontractor in relation to mechanical and electrical material/equipment submissions, deliveries to site and storage on/off site
• Monitor subcontractor works in relation to mechanical and electrical installations such as pumps, pipe works, water control gates, instrumentation and building services (ACMV, Fire Hydrant System, Plumbing System etc.)
• Attend inspections with the Project Consultant and prepare reports on all tests carried out
• Support the QA/QC department with field work and documentation for quality control of mechanical and electrical installations
• Check subcontractor as-built drawings, operations manuals and procedures
• Attend final testing and commissioning of completed installations
• Ensure that the overall execution of the work meets the Client’s requirements in accordance with the
• Contract for the execution of the Project.
• Ensure that he/she understands Company’s Quality Management Program and implement it for all the
• Project’s phases, and that the Company’s Safety Policy and safety and environmental measures are strictly followed.
  

Requirements:

• A Recognised Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent academic qualifications.
• At least 5 years relevant working experience in M&E
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with others

• Planning, design, assembling and installing equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate and liaise with main con, consultants, sub-contractors.
• Supervise and check subcontractors’ works according to design drawings, specifications and regulation.
• Plan and prepare projects based on stage of activities, schedule work activities.
• Reporting to electrical engineer if discrepancies in safety measures or installation procedures are found and take steps to solve the problem.
• Check and ensure the equipment and material offered in compliance with the specification and drawings.
• Oversee and be overall responsible for works carried out by supervisors assigned under his/her care.
• Generate incident reports
• Perform all other duties as assigned and required.

• You are responsible to drive and manage the silicon Bump & package assembly suppliers, backend processes and solutions to achieve the aggressive TQRDCEB goals.
• You will work closely with package design & technology, test & product engg, production planning, quality engg & NPI teams, assembly/substrate suppliers to support new product & technology introduction activities by defining processes, monitoring systems, manage process improvements and changes.
• Provide day-to-day support to bump and assembly suppliers & internal planning, product and test engineering teams.
• Plan, drive & implement improvement activities for continual improvement, 2nd sourcing, cost reduction & customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• PhD / Master / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering with 7~12 years of relevant experience of managing advanced node silicon bumping, large body single & multi-chip (2.1/2.5/3D) package assembly, substrate & back-end suppliers and processes.
• Hands on experience in Product Life-Cycle Management - creating & maintaining Bill of Material structure, Process Documentation, Process Change Notification etc.
• Good team player, result oriented individual, experienced in project management, failure analysis tools, techniques and TQM. Good analytical, problem-solving skills. Flexible and agile.
• Sound knowledge of applicable industry standards, quality systems, regulations, knowledge of prevailing and emerging silicon package & substrate technologies, bumping and assembly processes, materials and equipment.
• Able to communicate with internal team members & external partners in various geographic locations and may required to travel from time to time at short notice.
• Experienced AutoCAD user. Knowledge of silicon & PCB fabrication, board assembly processes, are an added advantage
