To support the mission of MWS Active Ageing Centres through the recruitment, training and development of volunteers to be engaged in the implementation of (1) active ageing programmes that would build the seniors’ self-help capacity, (2) outreach and befriending of seniors in the community.

Responsibilities

1. Volunteer Management, Recruitment, Training and Development

• Recruitment of new volunteers. Assign volunteers to relevant roles
• Provide on-boarding and facilitate training to volunteers.
• Motivate and retain volunteers.
• Engage volunteers, including those from partner churches, other community volunteer groups, schools, and or companies fulfilling corporate social responsibilities etc. to

1. Plan, organize and conduct centre-based active-ageing programmes and interest groups

• Manage Volunteer Management System (VMS) for Centre volunteers including registration and volunteers’ attendance.

2. Outreach and Befriending Services

• Strategy planning of effective outreach programmes and activities.
• Co-ordinate outreach efforts with volunteers and volunteer groups to identify socially isolated seniors and seniors who require care management.
• Conduct wellness assessments of seniors.
• Assign befrienders to provide befriending services to socially isolated seniors.
• Monitor the effectiveness of befriending through regular reports from befriender and feedback surveys from befriendees
• Onward referrals to case management executive for service linkage and care coordination, when required.

3. Programme Co-ordination and Administration – support the Centre Manager to

• Empower seniors to participate in developing and implementing suitable active ageing programmes.
• Collaborate with community partners to organise outreach programmes
• Ensure compliance to Finance and Human Resources policies, maintaining documentation for internal and external audits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will be responsible for our Product Application Lab for Semiconductor applications. Working closely with the Sales team and global technical resources, the selected candidate will support the development and growth of Semiconductor industry products in the region, focused on Southeast Asia. The initial focus will be on Strip, Etch, and Clean (SEC) solutions, but will also grow to include the Elevate® line of electroplating products. Specifically, the duties will include:

• Having a deep understanding of Technic products for the Semiconductor industry,
• Keeping abreast of industry developments and market position/performance of comparable competitive products.
• Working with Sales team to select appropriate customer and application targets
• Visiting customers across the territory to understand their equipment, process, and product performance requirements.
• Starting-up and operating the Technic Wafer Processing and Failure Analysis lab
• Conducting product functional performance testing & measurements either on-site or coordinating with other Regions to generate test results remotely.
• Advising on laboratory upgrades needed to better serve customers
• Liaising with customers during qualification tests and providing trouble-shooting advice after installation
• Recommending the best product for the application based on product experience and/or laboratory trials
• Hiring and supervising at least one technician to maintain the lab and support customer trials
• Developing specifications and facility recommendations for local manufacturing of SEC products, either at Technic or third-party facilities
• Advise on hiring and lead training of operators for local manufacturing
• Set operating procedures, quality targets and release specifications for any eventual locally made semiconductor products
• Developing external collaborations with co-suppliers, Universities, or Government Research Institutes to strengthen our offering, improve our market visibility, or secure funding to advance our product offerings.

Requirement

• The role may require regular travel to Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, and Thailand (1-2 times per month) & less frequent travel to France and the US (1-2 times per year)
• Qualifications: Graduate degree (Masters or PhD) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 10 Years of experience in Semiconductor Wafer Processing industries
