MAIN PURPOSE

The Management Trainee provides strategic support in deployed departments across the Group of Companies

such as Operations, Corporate Development, Corporate Finance, Human Capital, and Sales / Business

Development for 18 to 24 months, learning about business operations and eventually specialise in a particular area depending on interest and organisational needs.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To provide executive and administrative support to the management and/or HODs in the deployed departments.
2. To participate in company certification and quality assurance programmes.
3. To represent the company at corporate events and trade shows.
4. To update manuals and documentation such as SOPs.
5. To participate in strategic planning and implementation of policies and assist management with the implementation of new policies.
6. To assist in company digitisation efforts and IT administration.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Preferable to have at least one year of working experience in any generalist fields such as marketing, HR, finance.
2. Willingness to be rotated between various departments and positions for career progression.
3. Minimum degree holder with good results.
4. Meticulous, good interpersonal skills and willingness to learn.

• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

• Conduct product testing and validation to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
• Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform product improvements
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and manuals
• Support the manufacturing process by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting
• Participate in product lifecycle management, including updates and phase-out strategies
• Conduct cost analysis and optimize product designs for manufacturability
• Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality materials and components
• Assist in training sales and support teams on product features and benefits

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• Over 3 years of experience in setting up automation equipment
• Strong knowledge of electromechatronic systems
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively at all levels
• Team player with a high level of motivation
• Willingness to travel overseas for field support as needed
