Team Summary

The Card Product group manages the deployment and optimization of Visa’s core products base consisting of Credit, Debit and Prepaid payments solutions globally. The team is also responsible for the development and deployment of innovation across this product suite. To do this, we work in close partnership with Visa clients and key internal and external stakeholders across the globe. We are also the team responsible for leading the transition of conventional card-based solutions onto digital form factors, ensuring Visa payments solutions remain the market-leading way for consumers to spend their money and manage their payments across Visa’s global regions.

Director, Credit Product Management (AP) does at Visa:

Reporting to the Head of Core Product Management, AP, the role-holder will be responsible for initiatives across three broad areas of responsibility:

Credit Product best practices, leading identification, development and execution of Credit product best practices to drive improvements in usage, activation and preference for Visa amongst issuers and consumers

Drive credit innovation, through leadership for the AP region, of initiatives within the Visa 2030 strategy to expand Credit across traditional credit card issuance and the provision of credit outside of credit card issuance

Facilitate Visa thought-leadership, working closely with in-market teams in AP to develop a clear point of view on the direction of credit, working closely with Global counterparts. An essential part of Visa’s success is the establishment and application of rules and standards, to ensure a uniform, reliable point-of-sale UX, both online and offline. The role-holder will be responsible for the identification, development, commercialization and launch of new ways to grow the consumer credit business as part of Visa’s 2030 corporate strategy, working closely with in-market teams and with global counterparts as well as Visa issuers to expand “credit-card” issuance, as well as newer ways of efficiently facilitating the provision of unsecured credit.

The Opportunity

The Project/Product Manager (PM)position is a part of the Global IT Department, which is directly overseen by the Group’s CIO. Our team currently comprises over 40 IT, software, and data professionals primarily based in Shanghai and Moerdijk (the Netherlands). Job Responsibilities:

· Work collaboratively with our global engineering team to deliver and improve industry-leading business applications in a highly iterative pattern

· Understand markets, competition, and user (both internal and external) requirements in depth; take ownership over specific business applications with a willingness to take responsibility for the end result

· Embody a quantitative and statistical approach to project and product management. Designing unbiased KPIs and other metrics to justify project/product outcomes. Regularly survey/interview users for product feedback.

· Responsible for taking projects through their entire lifecycle; refine promising ideas into project proposals for review; oversee the execution of projects, ensuring their quality and timeliness; conduct project retrospectives and documentation tasks upon project completion

· Promote a culture of organizational learning by facilitating knowledge sharing and implementing best practices in documentation; take ownership over our Confluence ‘Project Hub’

Requirements:

· 2+ years of experience as a product manager, project manager, or program manager at a software company

· An exceptionally strong communicator (written and spoken). Native/ professional fluency in English and Mandarin is highly desirable to effectively liaise with Chinese-speaking counterparts, understand their technical requirements.

· Highly logical, able to accurately sort problems/deadlines/features by highest impact/ROI

· Highly motivated, with a proactive approach to project ownership and accountability for outcomes and timelines.

Desirable Qualities:

· High level knowledge about modern software architectures and DevOps principles

· Previous work experience related to with B2B ERP/TMS systems

· Previous work experience related to container shipping, freight forwarding, or maritime logistics

• Support component selection, engineering evaluation, and testing of parts and sub-modules for vision inspection equipment.
• Develop electrical parts and sub-modules for vision inspection equipment.
• Update product design documents, drawings, and BOM (Bill of Materials).

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience
• Proficient in CAD software for electrical and schematic design, as well as PC hardware, Windows OS, and software.

Responsibilities
