Join us as Head of Portfolio Solutions at AIA Investment Management!

The main objectives of this position are to run and oversee AIA IM efforts and delivery of our investment services, solutions, and performance in the following key areas:

• Derivatives: oversee and provide leadership to the group derivative center of excellence (DCOE) to 1) establish a strong strategic platform to drive 2) the BAU implementation of various hedging programs for clients and portfolios in Investment Management 3) provide consultation to regional Line Business Units (LBUs)

• Total Fund Management (TFM) which handles the multi asset ILPs for the LBUs. To develop a strong investment platform to support our performance delivery on these products to the LBUs working closely with the ILP product marketing team in IM

• System rollout: working with the project team, coordinate and support the investment teams on the rollout to ensure the business gets the optimal use of the new system.

You will drive people management and leadership development for these teams and also work seamlessly with Group Investment, Business Units and AIAIM to achieve its objectives and handle communications.

What you will do:

• Work hand-in-hand with the Team Heads for Derivative and TFM to manage and construct appropriate investment solutions to meet the client’s overall risk and return targets.
• Provide regular analysis and assessment of the Derivatives and TFM portfolio, including regular manager review, where needed to develop tools and reports to manage risk and performance.
• Build research expertise and in conjunction with the IM Head of MO to develop analytical tools to support decision making
• Be both a great teammate and a coach/mentor for the other members.

What you will need to be successful:

• At least 20 years of investment experience with large complex multi asset funds such as pension and insurance funds at both the top-down directive construction and setting level as well as the bottom-up portfolio implementation.
• Strong expertise in all aspect of derivatives, multi asset investing demonstrated by a well-defined and consistent investment process, with a good track record of investment performance.
• Excellent technical proficiency, understanding of investment strategies and their implications, as well as implementation and value enhancement strategies in the physical, fund and derivative markets.
• Strong system and operational understanding across all aspects of multi asset investments with experience in transition management, derivative hedging, tactical trading and risk mitigation overlays.
• Experience working with or in an Insurance AMCO.
• Excellent interpersonal and engagement skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform system data entries and related functions for customers and ”Internal Warehouse Management System” (iWMS)
• Coordinate with customers and internally for Operation and inventory-related matters
• Ensure all paperwork, system, and filing is completed on time and accurately
• Plan and follow up on Orders to ensure on-time delivery
• Maintain accurate and updated inventory records
• Generate accurate billing invoices, inventory reports, and related reports as per the required deadline

Job Responsibilities

1. You will assist to manage and prepare all Project and Contract Management for upgrading and improvement of infrastructure facilities, routine and cyclical project.

2. You will be involved in the project conceptualizing stage, developing and facilitating action plan to ensure coherence in planning parameters for facilities, timely execution of planning/action, manage and work closely with panel of external consultants and contractor.

3. You will monitor and evaluate all on-going projects; ensure that all works in progress are in-line with the proposed work schedules and budget.

4. You will perform general contracts administration such as preparation and calling of tender, conduct site show round, evaluation and recommendation of tender for to be awarded to tenderer.

5. You are involved in the preparation, evaluation and certification of progress claim / payment, finalization of contracts account with clients and contractors and ensuring due diligent and risk assessment in managing contractual and financial issues.

6. You will prepare and monitor job costing for on-going projects and periodically review/ updating of tender document and schedule of rates.

7. Any ad-hoc duties assigned by your supervisor.

Qualification & Skills:

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering, building facilities, contract and other relevant
• Min 5 - 8 years’ experience (To have knowledge or experience in A&A works contract and project management)
• Knowledge with the usage of MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), MS Projects
• Good interpersonal, communication and management skills
• Able to work in a team and independently

- Oversee operations and cleanliness on ground

- Perform general cleaning to maintain cleanliness

- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Manage the assigned property and maintain the estate in a safe, good and operational condition for occupants
• Advise the Management Corporation in accordance to by-laws, legislations, standards and requirements governing building maintenance and strata management in Singapore
• Perform due diligence through site inspections that contracted services or routine maintenance have been carried out according to specifications
• Liaise with the government agencies, developer, architect, contractors and service providers on behalf of the Management Corporation
• Conduct meetings for the Management Corporation, from agenda planning, preparing progress updates to drafting of meeting minutes
• Respond to after-office-hours emergency calls, messages and emails and take appropriate actions
• Plan and track annual budget for maintenance fee and sinking fund of the estate.
• Write circulars, notices, reminders and/or letters for display of notices.
• Supervise site staff and term contractors to ensure deliverables & KPIs are met.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Building/Estate Management or related discipline.
• Proven experience in property management industry.
• Strong knowledge of running Management Corporations and the Building Maintenance & Strata Management Act.
• Demonstrated strong ability to influence and negotiate.
• Attentive to details, takes pride in operational excellence.
• Good interpersonal, organizational and people management skills.
• Resourceful problem solver.
• Fluent in English, excellent communication skills.
