Mission:

Main Tasks:

- Tracking product performance against target

- Provide go to market strategy and for successful penetration into the focused vertical markets, identifying suitable portfolio for specific vertical markets

- Sales management and mentoring of distributors in assigned territories to generate NBOs and achieve budget

- Periodic visits to the distributors to conduct business reviews and regular joint customer visits

- Raise and follow up special price enquiries, prepare quotations with objective to maximize margin

- Assist distributors during exhibitions both at Marcom level and physical presence during the event

- Finding new prospective distributors and customers when needed

- Analyzing feedback from various channels and proposal of actions to Management

- Collect and feedback any competition information

- Prepare and Manage Sales Forecast quarterly/yearly in conjunction with Company Business Plan

- Work with colleagues and managers to understand & promote Company strategy & objectives

Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering is preferred (not mandatory)

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in OEM or distribution sales, product management

- Experience working with multiple distribution channels

- Ability to translate customer requirements into workable solutions

- Strong oral and written communications skills

- Strong technical aptitude & the ability to understand & communicate technical information

- Strong organizational skills & the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously

- Able to travel overseas as required

- Good attention to detail and strong follow-up skills

- Ability to analyse sales results, interpret data and prepare action plan accordingly

- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

OUR ROLE

As an engineer accountable for the introduction of new product within the Power Transistor sub-Group, you will be mainly responsible for the characterization and qualification of Silicon Carbide Technology based Power MOSFETs along with other technologies in our portfolio like Silicon MOSFETs , IGBTs, GaN HEMT and Power Modules.

The job holder will be involved in characterization laboratory activities such as:

• Testing program development, debug and deployment.
• Product characterization either at wafer and package level.
• Data analysis and reporting.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in electrical engineering or close related field.
• 3 to 5 years of direct work experience in a semiconductor environment, preferably as a Test Development Engineer and/or Product Engineer.
• Experience/Knowledge in new product characterization and qualification.
• Understanding of semiconductor physics and power transistors functioning is a must have.
• Knowledge of Wide Band Gap technologies/products such as Silicon Carbide and Gallium Nitride is considered a plus.
• Experience with some industry Automated Test Equipment such as Teradyne (ETS88TH), SPEA (DOT800), ACCOTEST (STS 8200), TESEC (431TT), B1505a.
• Test Software development experience & skills, including knowledge of C/C++ .
• Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented work ethic, ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
