The successful candidate will manage the entire product line life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities, guide product development from conception to launch, and evaluate product functionalities and performance.

Your key responsibilities:

To qualify for the role, you must have

1. At least a Bachelor’s degree in any of these faculties - Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, Science (Computer Studies)
2. Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in the digital industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of product management principles, concepts, and techniques.
4. Experience conducting market research, product positioning, and marketing strategies.
5. Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication skills.
7. Experience in managing cross-functional teams.

Your key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and compliance, to define, design and prioritize payment initiation features and requirements.
• Operate as a global key contact point for various country payment formats. Support client requests for format acceptance and work with the end to end payments team to ensure we are operational ready.
• Work with control functions to ensure that the product is compliant.
• Using a data driven approach, understand client behaviours and identify a solution to influence clients to adopt our latest digital payment solutions.
• Orchestrate the agile ceremonies together with Scrum Master to build an agile development and delivery environment.

• Understand market trends and customer needs and use this knowledge to inform product decisions.

Your skills and experience:

• 10 years of experience in payments, of which, at least 5 years in product management
• Experience required in analysis of multi-country payment requirements and regulatory frameworks
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and ceremonies with proven experience as Product Owner in managing complex product backlogs in global squads.
• Ability to articulate business value and trade offs of activities undertaken
• Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to operate in a non-process driven environment.
