Objectives
To lead and design decontamination procedures during plant shutdowns based on existing chemistry, executing in line with customer’s safety requirements
Responsibility
· To design decon loops, lead decon discussion with stakeholds, and execute decontamination projects together with client’s Operations team during plant turnarounds
· To be the company’s focal point for decon projects tasked to the candidate
· To perform independently site checks and subsequently prepare engineering drawings tailor made to customer’s decon requirements
· To be familiar with current best practices for operations shutdown/startup procedures and work with multiple stakeholders to execute agreed upon practices
· As and when need arises, to be situated at customer premises during the planning and preparation of Turnaround activities
· As and when tasked to, travel on short notice to regional sites
Requirements
· Minimum Degree in Chemical Engineering with 3 years experience in O&G sector
· Basic knowledge on refining/production process – upstream and downstream
· Candidates with project management or experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders will have an advantage
· 1-2 years exposure of plant shut down procedures
· Preferably held position in Operation’s Turnaround events planning
· Willing to be situated to support site activities during decon projects
· Candidate must be able to work on tight schedules and on shifts when required
