JOB SUMMARY:
The Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for operationalizing/executing the brand’s Marketing and promotional plans with that of the external trade partners.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plan and Execute all trade & consumer activities (Department Stores and Sephora) in line with Marketing Plan and Brand Targets
• Work closely with Retail Team / Brand Manager to ensure trade marketing strategies are aligned with sales objectives and revenue targets
• Work closely with Merchandising Team to ensure good implementation of all VM guidelines in store, as well as on animation spaces
• Help to develop trade communications – traditional and digital
• Implement PR & KOL strategy as per brand regional guidelines: manage product seeding, PR events etc.
• Analyze sell-out by client, to be in line with brands targets and priorities, and to propose actions
• Recommend and develop range (assortment and inventory) with Retail Team / Brand Manager
• Liaise with external suppliers to ensure local of collaterals (leaflets, showcards, etc.), digital assets adaptations (e-retail banners, etc.) in line with budget and marketing guidelines.
• Provide feedback on competition best practices
• Reporting to Brand Manager / Senior Brand Manager
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
• 3-4 years Marketing / Sales gained from FMCG/ retail/ luxury goods
• Strong commercial marketing sense and be insightful on consumer understanding
• Brand Management knowledge on the brand positioning/ media / PR / promotion / research / merchandising
• Good creative and strategic thinking as well as logical analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Digital marketing knowledge
• Good Excel, PowerPoint skills
