- To use correct procedures to fill pure gas and gas mixtures.
- Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed.
- Familiarity with the filling panel, scales, vacuum pump, liquid pumps, compressors, painting and valving machines and cylinder drying oven.
- Completion of filling forms as required.
- Current license for forklift truck.
- Selection of the most appropriate technique for filling gas.
- Loading/offloading of trucks/containers as requested.
- Painting of cylinders to appropriate standards.
- Connection/disconnection and running of the cylinder drying ovens.
- QC check of final goods prior to despatch.
Job Requirements
- Min. NITEC in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Results oriented individual who is conscientious about quality & safety.
- Mechanical knowledge in plant equipment, pure and specialty gas will be a plus.
