Education & Work experience Requirements:
1. At least Bachelor's degree in Automation, Control Engineering, Internet of Things (IoT), or related fields.
2. At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the structural steel industry.
Job Description:
1. Develop and optimize automation solutions based on production requirements, and coordinate with teams to deploy automated inventory management systems.
2. Design and improve automated steel structure production processes, integrating industry-standard software (e.g., Tekla) with processing equipment to achieve automated cutting, assembly, and welding.
3. Maintain existing production lines and propose improvements to minimize manual intervention and increase efficiency.
4. Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of automated systems with existing production management systems, and provide training and guidance on new equipment and systems.
5. Generating reports outlining new automation ideas, machine and software upkeep best practices, test results.
Key Skill & Competency Requirements:
1. Proficiency in sensor principles and applications, with the ability to design and optimize sensor-based monitoring and control systems.
2. Proficiency in embedded systems design, including embedded hardware development, microcontroller programming (e.g., ARM, STM32), and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
3. Familiar with C# programming.
4. Familiar with mainstream automation development tools and software, such as LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, Siemens TIA Portal, and AVEVA System Platform.
5. Familiar with industrial automation technologies, including PLC programming, servo control, and industrial robotics.
6. Familiar with smart manufacturing technologies (e.g., Industry 4.0, MES systems, IoT devices) and their applications in steel structure manufacturing.
