Duties to be Performed:

Fabrica AI Full time Electrical Engineer - Invention of Automatic Tile Grouting Robots

Fabrica AI is reinventing how robots are developed. Currently novel robots take 5-20 years. We are building a design automation platform to bring it down to a month, and have already demonstrated significant progress by developing tile grouting robots in record time. Robotics simulation and reinforcement learning has been advancing a lot making it 1000x cheaper to train robots compared to 5 years ago, and as Jensen Huang said at Nvidia GTC 2024, "the ChatGPT moment for robotics may be just around the corner." A couple other companies are building on the same paradigm shift but we are the only ones using it to automate hardware design, not just software.

Building robots and a design automation platform together brings great synergy - the platform helps us develop robots faster than anyone else and the robots allow us to gather data and do experiments at scale. Data gathering can be done through partnerships with other robotics companies, but doing experiments is crucial for grounding the platform in reality and ensuring its usefulness. The grouting robots are already deploying daily at construction sites and bringing value to clients. We are currently negotiating sales worth around 500k USD. With manufacturing cost multiple times lower than companies using a traditional robotic arm, our robots have an ROI in weeks. Our robot is also small and simple to use, operating from a single button without the need to upload floorplans or do any complex setup. WHAT IS NEEDED FROM YOU

• 3 years hands-on fulltime working experience in ReactJS
• Proven experience in developing web applications, web forms, & enterprise workflows
• 2+ years of expertise in systems analysis, design, and programming

  Modern JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, with a solid understanding of core principles

JOB DESCRIPTION

This job focuses on software development for Software as a Medical Devices. System engineer will be working closely with Project Managers and project teams to ensure the software as a medical device product management Lifecyle is followed thoroughly.

• Support project manager to plan and execute Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) projects including AI applied to healthcare.
• Support technical team in product development, design verification and validation of medical devices including software as medical device.
• Prepare, design and development documentation by working together with software developers, quality and regulatory personnel.
• Prepare project agreements, procurement specifications and technical documents.
• Follow-up on project milestones.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Preferred to have one year of experience in software development or medical device product development.
• Educational background of computer engineering or bio medical engineering.
• Knowledge in software development, experience in software development environment will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge / willingness to learn the ISO 13485 documentation practices and drive project teams for adherence.
• Good follow up skills.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them in understanding and incorporate AI accelerators into the overall cloud strategy by recommending migration paths, integration strategies, and application architecture that incorporate Google Cloud AI optimized infrastructure.
• Demonstrate how Google Cloud is differentiated, highlighting the power of accelerators by working with customers on proof-of-concepts, demonstrating features, optimizing model performance, profiling, and bench-marking.
• Build repeatable assets to enable other customers and internal teams.
• Influence Google Cloud strategy at the intersection of infrastructure and AI/ML by advocating for enterprise customer requirements.
• Lead business and Workload acceleration on AI Infrastructure products and solutions for GCP.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud infrastructure.
• 5 years of experience in a technical role focused on AI infrastructure or related areas.
• Experience building and operationalizing machine learning models.
• Experience with GPU programming (CUDA, OpenCL) and optimization techniques.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments and contributions to open-source projects related to AI or infrastructure.
• Experience training and fine-tuning large models (i.e., image, language, segmentation, recommendation, genomics) with accelerators.
• Experience with performance profiling tools (i.e., Tensorflow profiler, PyTorch profiler, Tensorboard).
• Experience designing/architecting large-scale infrastructure farms for specialist AI use cases.
• Experience with running MLPerf benchmarks, distributed training and optimizing performance versus costs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
