The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT), National University of Singapore is looking for researchers and engineers to develop next generation quantum computers based on trapped ions. - Repairing, inspection, commissioning/installation of steam-and gas turbines and rotary machineries for ships and power generation. Cryogenic equipment services. Bulk material handling.

- Willingness to work hands-on in marine, oil & gas industrial environment and work overtime (will be paid).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all monitoring system of the building management faciities are in good operating condition (error free) and feedback on all alarms and errors generated form BMS.
• Perform scheduling of facilities and building management services to facilitate events and arising requirement.
• Reporting and compilation of daily, feedback, building management facilities faults and activities.
• Operate the plant at the most efficient operating condition and ensure all abnormities are reported for corrective actions

• Perform routine building management facilities activities including inventory control. Critical systems checks and functional testing. Able to respond and take action in response to facilities crisis management activities including: power outages, fire alarms, ACMV outages.
• Analyse data and identify trends with facility issues to determine root cause and take appropriate action.
• Responds to BMS alerts, investigate and feedback on any outstanding issues or events and respond to emergency situations and be on standby duty as required.
• Provide technical support to all aspects M&E operations including the operation, maintenance and repair of all mission critical equipment and systems supporting a 24x7 activities to achieve 100% uptime and 100% compliance with all customer SLAs.
• Assist in all site construction activities and installations, in coordination with external contractors to ensure system design, installation and testing adhere to operational standards. Witness testing of all equipment during commissioning and validate sequence of operations and receipt of all operational documentation.
• Maintain compliance with local workplace safety & health (WSH) standards and local electrical and building codes.
• Ensure adherence to all standard operating procedures (SOP) and emergency response procedures (ERP) established for the critical environments, as well as the formal change control process.

We are looking for a skilled and proactive AV/IT Engineer who can take the lead on AV/IT initiatives and offer expert advice on AV/IT design and project plans, ensuring project needs are met, maintain, and monitor project timelines, intervening when necessary, onsite installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, take ownership and coordinate with others to support daily audio visual technical requests.
