Perform daily monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of backup jobs on platforms (MS Active Directory, Exchange, Oracle, SQL Server, Windows, VMware, and UNIX servers).
Manage and support Storage systems, including vulnerability remediation, capacity management, configuration management, provisioning and zoning of new servers using SAN switches.
Analyse backup software performance accordingly to meet client needs and monitoring of scheduled backups to ensure success or take remedial action for failures
Provide backup system data statistics to management.
Perform regular DR (Disaster Recovery) test plan of backup data restoration and storage replication availability.
Monitor usage and performance of storage and perform capacity planning for storage growth to management.
Manage storage and backup changes through change request process & provide status reports to the relevant parties.
Respond promptly to incident, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.

The Rapid Response Damage Assessment (RRDA) program is seeking an Engineer or a Senior Engineer to assist with the modeling and analysis of vessel stability and hull strength for ships and offshore floating structures and verify their compliance with applicable Rules and Regulations.

· The RRDA program provides 24/7 technical assistance to ship and offshore floating structure related emergencies such as grounding and collision. When activated, RRDA is an extension of the vessel management team’s own response capability, focusing on the measure of changes occurring to hull strength, stability and the extent to which risk of pollution can be mitigated. · Creates and maintains engineering documentations relating to software development / bug-fix / feature releases following BESI standards and design rules.

· Ensure fast response to customer and production issues.

· Provides engineering support to assigned R&D/CIT projects.

Requirements :

Education

Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Mechatronic) or Software Engineering

Work experience

At least 3 years relevant experience in automation / equipment industries.

Significant practical experience in software engineering and testing (embedded software and HMI environment).

Experience with agile software development processes, quality control and test driven development

Expertise and methodology

Proficiency in Microsoft (C++, VB6) using Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 and programming language “C” and “C++”.

Knowledge of UML and state machines; State Transition Diagrams

Very good English skills (verbal and written)

Experience with version control in Mercurial / GIT is a pre

Experience with SECS/GEM is a plus

To support in the performance of Engineering functions such as conducting failure analysis using available FA tools, as well as performing quality inspections.

• Perform engineering jobs to support failure analysis using available FA tools such as Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM),
• Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX), Ion Mill, FIB, high power microscope inspection, de-processing, mechanical cross-section and
• bench testing, and generate reports.
• Perform critical engineering evaluations that require failure analysis and generate reports.
• Responsible for the maintenance of the Failure Analysis Lab
• Observe safety and housekeeping during day-to-day failure analysis activities.
• Observe and meet cycle time for all products for analysis.
• Liaise with external FA/Test laboratory for any test requirement.
• Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of incoming materials, parts and components used in the manufacture of products, partially assembled, or finished products.
• Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing done during incoming, outgoing, and in-process inspection.
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for rework confirming re-work.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database. Maintain all controlled document files and FA & Inspection records in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performs other tasks as may be required by immediate superior.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in business application systems/software development including SDLC usage in financial domain
• Expertise in Java, JavaScript and front-end software development based on Spring framework
• Experience in Web Components, Database and CICD tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube etc)
• Experience in working on AWS Services
• Good end-to-end knowledge of financial services would be an added advantage
