PROJECT / SERVICE ENGINEER (Pneumatic/Hydraulic ESD Systems)

Candidates should have an engineering background in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation (degree/diploma/on-the-job training) with 5 years’ experience in the design, engineering, procurement and construction of pneumatic/hydraulic/wellhead control systems. Should have had hands-on experience in design and implementation work and responsible for execution of all phases of a project. Job Purpose

You will be a key member responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process and ensuring that it is optimized to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role will also lead the team to design, implement automated systems to improve warehouse operations efficiency and capacity, as well as, drive related continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, improve the process and systems within the supply chain, in a way that fosters collaboration, communication and continuous improvement to optimize the entire supply chain process.
• Design, implement, and/or improve operational processes to integrate automation processes / technology into the operations.
• To articulate practical recommendations for business requirementsand demonstrating an ability to address pain points & issues at a high level.
• Engage and partner with key stakeholders and operators on automation projects to ensure successful implementations by understanding stakeholders requirements and vendor capabilities.
• Review automation project progress and vendor performance to ensure our automation strategy is well implemented.
• Drives innovation from ideation to realization for process improvements, including definition and deployment of automation/technology roadmaps, budget of project, and developing implementation plans.
• To provide industry insights related to automation trends, challenges & market opportunity, identifying how the company's products/services may bring value to existing or potential external customers.

• Prior knowledge and minimum 8 years of hands-on experience related to warehousing solutions and/or automation design and implementation, industrial engineering and/or supply chain operations management in e-commerce and/or consulting environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business/Operations Management/Industrial Engineering/ Automation or any other related profession.
• Possess a strong understanding of the end-to-end (E2E) supply chain.

Position Summary

Independently to develop and apply hull design including hull outfit and knowhow on marine and offshore vessel to comply
with Class and Technical specification requirements.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Familiar with new technologies on marine and offshore field, such as structural health monitoring and ect.
• Perform concept and basic/detail design adopting relevant and up to date technologies
• Perform FE analysis using FEMAP
• Perform naval architecture calculations such as stability/hydrostatic, weight distribution, launching
• Generate basic & detail design document (arrangement & detail structure drawings and outfitting drawing and etc.) in
• compliance with Class/Statutory/Owner requirement
• Perform structural calculation, rudder calculation and design
• Generate technical specification for marine/machinery equipment
• Perform technical evaluation of hull outfitting equipment such as deck cranes, winches etc
• Prepare detailed compartment layouts, space coordination and integration with other disciplines.
• Liaise with other inter-discipline designers for design integration
• Liaise with Owner/ Vendor/ External Design Institute for the specific design requirement and development
• Liaise with Class Society to determine the design requirement

• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in the marine/offshore industry Hull & Outfitting newbuilding engineering design.
• Familiar on Structural Hull & Outfitting design.
• Familiar with Rules and Regulation and Statutory Requirements.
