Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible to:

● Carry out engineering design with minimal supervision in accordance with local codes or relevant international design codes

● Assume responsibility and undertake engineering tasks of increasing scope and complexity

● Responsible for analysis of information, production of design, tenders, proposals and technical report writing

● Assist in coordination of quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and other design consultants

● Observe, review and report of works on site

● Handle client liaison and reporting

● Provide leadership to projects including planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting

● Assist in assessment and review of designs prepared by others on behalf of the clients

● Liaise with authorities on plans submission and compliance

● To work with the Qualified Person (QP) to develop electrical building services designs and calculations.

Job Requirements

· Degree in Electrical Engineering

. Minimum 3 years’ experience in the design & supervision of building service projects

· Experience in design & design management of healthcare, residential, commercial, institutional or hotel projects will be an advantage

· Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures

· Experience user with relevant engineering software, Building Information Modelling and Navisworks

· Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English

· Able to work independently & exercise initiative

· Excellent delegation and communication skills, which see you enlist the help of others to meet objectives

Your Job

As a Product Design Engineer specializing in IO connectors, your primary focus will be on supporting the development and manufacturing of new products. This will involve collaborating with manufacturing teams to review and provide feedback on the feasibility and plant capability of new concepts. Molex Singapore is seeking for a Process Outsource Engineer to support production process improvements for subcontractors outside Molex Singapore, ensuring quality, yield, and productivity enhancements. You will be responsible for the smooth release of new products to manufacturing, resolving process-related issues, and tracking assets.
